Makeup brushes can harbor lots of dirt and bacteria, but frequent washing of your makeup brushes can keep them - and your face - clean and healthy.
Steps:
1. Run the bristles of the makeup brush under warm running water.
2. Apply a small amount of shampoo to bristles and work into a light lather.
3. Rinse bristles thoroughly under running water. You will notice that the water leaving the brush is tinted from old makeup.
4. Continue rinsing until no color leaves the brush.
5. Allow it to air-dry.

Many professional makeup artists use a specialized cleaning solution for their brushes. These solutions are available at most beauty supply stores.

Special solvents for cleaning brushes are a waste of money. A clear shampoo (especially the drugstore kind!) will do the job beautifully for a lot less money. Use shampoo full strength to clean eyebrow and concealer brushes, then rinse.
Keep brushes in shape
As a make-up artist it's really bad when my brushes go out of shape so my teacher sugested this:
After cleaning but a little leave in conditioner into the brush and mold into shape. Leave bristles over hanging bench to dry them best. |

memandangkan ada thread pasal brushes nih...shilin nak tanya ada brush yg dr bristles....shilin check kat internet, bristles ni info yg shilin jumpa ...adalah campuran dr berbagai binatang termasuk dog. Nak konpemkan jika ada yg tahu ttg bristles ni...tolong detailkan sikit leh tak...maklumat kat internet skit sangat... |

bb penah try kat kedai tu jek..mmg bes..rege pun bout 40-50 but x terbeli2 lagi sbb xtau bes ke gune ngan mineral makeup.. |

yagi, survey dulu ape yg betul2 nak pakai, rey banyak brush tapi guna 3 je, the blusher/face brush , the concealer brush and the eyeshadow brush, lain2 tak guna pong...:bgrin: |
