salam semua.

hari ni bukak paper metro terbaca iklan maxis. "rm33 sehari utk pelayaran internet tanpa had ketika bercuti luar negara. easy callback dari lebih 30 negara. RM1 per sms dari mana2 negara. teman anda utk mengembara lebih lancar. "

adakah iklan ini benar atau sekadar gimik pemasaran semata2? ada sapa2 yg tau?  klu betul rm33 sehari memang cheaper, klu share dua org baru rm16.2 sehari utk suft internet tanpa had.

found this in fb .... nampak mcm ok.

http://www.facebook.com/flexiroam
Flexiroam is actually a call forwarding service and you need to have a simcard from visiting country to use the service.
This is how : Get your Malaysian telco to activate call forwarding (you MUST have the service), travel and get a local simcard (local means visiting country), change simcard, sms your local number to flexiroam and you are ready to go! The downside, call will be terminated as it reaches 10 minutes. Also, service only forward call but not sms so you may have to carry another phone for your Malaysian number to make sure you don't miss any sms.

On the other hand, Celcom has another special rate if you roam with their Axiata telcos, 98sen flat for all calls and sms. Oh, with M1 Singapore, per sms is only 65sen. And i heard that Celcom is not continuing the Boarder Rate promo which ends end August.

klu setakat nak buat panggilan telefon ke Msia aku guna VIBER jer. install pun free. kesemua samsung smart phone (dan android phone yg lain) blh pakai viber. sebodoh2 smart phone boleh install VIBER nie. call for free as long as you jumpa wifi percuma spt McD & coffee shop. pegi la mana2 McD seluruh dunia, sambil makan fries sambil call org2 tersayang di Msia tanpa limit. makan dpt, call pun dpt. klu miskin sgt order jer fries & segelas air berkabornat utk dptkan password dari cashier.    sesetgh tempat x da password sbgm McD di msia. tapi di eropah spt McD di Vienna memerlukan password, dptkan pword dg membeli segelas air gas & fillet o fish.  mudah bukan?

Pernah guna Flexiroam. Ia sangat sesuai kalau mahu dihubungi dengan nombor yg sama seolah2 kita sedang roaming dengan menggunakan SIM asal. Kos agak berbaloi, contoh hari tu pergi Indonesia, caj RM10/hari utk unlimited (10 minute limit per call) incoming & outgoing calls. Cuma incoming SMS tak diforward ke SIM negara lain yg kita guna. Solutionnya kalau guna smartphone boleh install SMS forward app kat HP yg guna SIM asal kita di Malaysia.

iya, namun bukan semua negara, tgk sahaja lah list negara yg mereka support unlimited data at RM33 per day itu.
dan make sure bila connect to telco di negara di lawati adalah telco yg mereka support unlimited data itu or else ianya tidak applicable

roaming tiada kaitan dengan ponsel, jikalau tidak activate roaming lagi, pergi sahaja activate, kalaui udah lama guna pakai, biasa activate free sahaja or else kena bayar RM300 deposit.

nak senang beli prepaid mmg automatically activate roaming.

Once you and your friends install Viber, you can use it to talk and message as much as you want. Talk, message, and talk and message some more and it's all free*!
    * When you use Viber on a 3G network you might incur operator data charges or internet access fees.

    Can I use Viber internationally?
Yes, it doesn't matter whether you and your friends are on the same network or even in a completely different country, you can talk and text as much as you want for free*! Just make sure your friends have Viber and check your data plans and roaming rates.

You don't have to register! You know your phone number and so do your friends, so why bother with yet another username and password? Viber uses your phone number as your "identity" and lets you make free Viber phone calls to any of your friends that have Viber - using THEIR phone number.

Bagi menjawab soalan bridge data roaming package RM33/day unlimited.

Memang Maxis ada tawarkan pakej daily unlimited tu tapi, tak semua negara boleh apply the same package.
Cuma negara2 berikut je yang boleh gunakan.

RM33 - 1day
RM88 - 3 days
RM133 - 5 days

Australia
Hong Kong
India
Indonesia
Macau
Singapore
South Korea
Taiwan
Thailand

Untuk negara2 di bawah ni pula dicajkan RM38/sehari. ((Bridge DataRoam Unlimited Plus))
China        China Mobile
Kuwait
Saudi Arabia
Turkey
UK
Vietnam

not sure about roaming.. but for call in london lg jimat beli sim card diorang. 5 pound tu pakai berhari2 call malaysia pun ok lg. blh call dari phone sendiri. for US, diorang ada jual card yang mcm ring2 card kot. yang kena call toll free number follow instruction and so on. for 5USD tu one week juga lah guna. tp normally kena guna fix line phone so you can use hotel phone je. and make sure beli card yg in english sbb spanish is second language in US. for vietnam, normally diorang sediakan pc wt skype for free.
