[Breaking] Son Ho Young Attempts Suicide After the Tragic Death of His Girlfriend
After the recent news of the death of his girlfriend, singer Son Ho Young’s attempted suicide is shocking and saddening the fans.
In the early morning of May 24, Son Ho Young attempted suicide using the same method as his deceased girlfriend. According to the police, he parked his car in a public parking lot in Seoul and lighted a coal briquette, intending to kill himself of gas poisoning. However, the inside of the car caught fire, and Son Ho Young was able to get himself out of the car. Fire fighters were called immediately by a passerby.
Son Ho Young is currently being treated at a hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Many feel that this attempt was made due to the tragic death of his girlfriend, as well as the malicious rumors and comments that followed afterward by the netizens.

Son Ho Young Attends Girlfriend’s Funeral, Details of Suicide Note Released
We recently reported that Son Ho Young‘s non-celebrity girlfriend was found dead in his car on May 21, in what appears to be a suicide.
According to an official statement from Son Ho Young’s agency, CJ E&M, Son Ho Young had lent his car to his girlfriend so she can use it while he used the agency’s car. The two had minor arguments because of Son Ho Young’s busy schedule, but none to the point where it could have led to such an incident. After finding out about the death and being questioned by the Gangnam Police, Son Ho Young is said to be in a state of extreme shock and will be unable to continue with his scheduled activities.
According to the most recent reports, So Ho Young is currently offering his condolences and watching over the deceased’s funeral at the Seoul Medical Center.
Sports World and Sports Chosun are reporting that the suicide note found inside the car along with the body of deceased contained the phrases, “I had a lot of worries because of debt” and “I feel disappointed by Son Ho Young.” Sports World is also reporting that the family of the deceased yelled and showed anger at Son Ho Young while he was being questioned by the police.
Osenis additionally reporting that the family of the deceased left with Son Ho Young’s manager in a taxi after their two-hour questioning by the Gangnam Police.

Preliminary Results of Son Ho Young’s Girlfriend’s Autopsy Released
We previouslyreported on May 21 that Son Ho Young‘s girlfriend was found dead in his car with a used briquet, an empty bottle of sleeping pills, and a suicide note. The suicide notecontained phrases such as, “I had a lot of worries because of debt” and “I feel disappointed by Son Ho Young.” Both Son Ho Young and the family of the deceased were questioned for a couple of hours at the Gangnam Police Station.
Police announced the preliminary results of the autopsy performed on the deceased by the National Forensic Service and the cause of death has been found to be “gas poisoning” with no evidence of foul play.
The Gangnam Police added, “Specific final results will take about one to two weeks more but as it was suspected, it seems the deceased committed suicide. The investigation is virtually over.”
It’s also being reported that Son Ho Young was with the deceased’s family throughout the whole funeral and procession to Seoul Memorial Park.
