aiyoo.. dah nak travel lg sebulan, hostel semua dah booked, jrpass dah beli, baru perasan time tu golden week.. plan nk pegi 27 apr - 5 mei adeh.. dah la nk travel between city, osaka-kyoto-tokyo-nagoya..

sape penah pegi time golden week, ade ape2 tips x?

Dekat forum lowyat ada cakap jgn sesekali pegi waktu nie. Even shinkansen pun tak boleh book sebab priority untuk local people. Maybe you boleh try tanya sana tapi jawapan dia kadang2 pedas sikit. hehehe... Or maybe ada sifu2 dekat sini yg ada experience pegi waktu Golden Week.

The Golden Week is a collection of four national holidays within seven days. In combination with well placed weekends, the Golden Week becomes one of Japan's three busiest holiday seasons, besides New Year and theObon week.

Trains, airports and sightseeing spots get very crowded during Golden Week, and accommodation in tourist areas can get booked out well in advance.

The national holidays making up the Golden Week are:

• April 29
  Showa Day (Showa no hi):
  April 29 is the birthday of former Emperor Showa, who died in the year 1989. Until 2006, Greenery Day (see May 4) used to be celebrated on this day.
• May 3
  Constitution Day (Kenpo kinenbi):
  On this day in 1947, the new postwar constitution was put into effect.
• May 4
  Greenery Day (Midori no hi):
  Until 2006, Greenery Day used to be celebrated on April 29, the birthday of former Emperor Showa. The day is dedicated to the environment and nature, because the emperor loved plants and nature. Before being declared Greenery Day, May 4 used to be a national holiday due to a law, which declares a day, that falls between two national holidays, a national holiday.
• May 5
  Children's Day (Kodomo no hi):
  The Boy's Festival (Tango no Sekku) is celebrated on this day. Families pray for the health and future success of their sons by hanging up carp streamers and displaying samurai dolls, both symbolizing strength, power and success in life. The Girl's Festival is celebrated on March 3.
  

In 2014, the weekends are placed unfavorably, creating an isolated holiday during the first half and a four-day holiday period in the second half of the Golden Week. Travel activity is anticipated to peak on May 3 with people leaving the large urban centers and on May 5 and 6 in the opposite direction.

Ramailah manusia kalau gi sana tu. Dulu I kena kat shanghai. Ish.. kena tukar program pulaklah ni. kena gi seoul pulak.

tu la.. ade gak bace forum2, trip advisor, etc, mmg dorg ckp x galakkan la.. tp boleh je just expect ramai org la, n susah sikit nk book shinsaken.. tp sbb golden week thn ni mcm pecah 2.. so 2nd week tu dorg assume lg peak.. time tu dah g tokyo.. so hopefully ok la tp kne siap2 back plan la kot.. hihi

pernah pergi time ni..seriusly memang panas..kena slalu ada air kat tangan..pakai baju nipis2 je..

mcam thun lepas musim summer kat tokyo..kepanasan melampau..sampai ada kes mati..

Okonomiyaki..osaka punya specility




Tempura udon dengan soba..harga set ni 780 yen kot..lupa..



Sushi..ni keda semua sushi 130 yen..sedap nya..

Nak pg on the 21 till 31 august. Tgk web most japs ke countyside sbb banyak festivals. And its the most expensive time to travel. Tgh cuti summer katanya. Habihla my pocket
