One bookstore that is not mentioned here is SKOOB(books spelled backward if you don't notice!)...used to be in Bangsar then moved to Brickfield and now to PJ Old Town @ Jalan Othman....The owner is a thin reedy guy Mr Thor...part time theatre director/actor andUITM lecturer...his bookshop sells many hard to find books (heavily British centric), art books and exhibition catalogueshis books are discounted up to 60 % and there is a section for ridiculously low marked down prices as low as RM3.00.
I bought many very hard to find books from here and I usually go straight to this section...examples...I bough Jackson Pollock Biography (Hard Cover) for RM5.00 , many christies and Sotheby's catalogues for RM10,00 each...and many more...
His is also the only shop that I notice stock GRANTA...one of the best literary quarterly in the whole wide world...(Payless do have a few occasionaly...)

adnil tau 2/3 je, satu kat ampang park, ground floor, same row dengan rhb bank (payless bookshop), lagi satu kat jalan silang (junk bookshop - ni buku dia mahal sikit especially kalau author dia terkenal).yang lain lain, satu kat dalam ampang point shopping complex, dalam wisma atria pj.dulu adnil pernah beli buku dari kedai buku rental kat cm dan kat setapak (dah tutup).adnil tak suka sewa sebab adnil suka baca berulang ulang.

Some of the books bought by me
just came back from skoob in pj old town.have lots of books there, memang murah.nasib baik called dulu sebelum pergi, rupanya they are closed on tuesdays.but lucky for us, he was in store and he was good enough to wait for us. the rm3/5 segment is replenished frequently.he told us that he is clearing his old stock as new shipment will be coming in next month from his hq in london. so will be going there again in jan to have a look at the new books.

dulu ada gak gie kat secondhand shop kat the mall tu (dia bukan je jual buku, tapi some other stuff incl baju gak - is it the same shop).tapi masa tu selection buku dia tak banyak sgt so tak de lah gie selalu.
