I just reformatted my computer and after formatting, i found that the data in my D: is renamed to my previous computer name and, the folder which use to be MY MUSIC, MY VIDEOS and MY PHOTOS is renamed to NAME MUSIC, NAME VIDEOS and NAME PHOTOS where NAME = my previous os name

i cant REname the three folder above..

so anyone can solve my problem?

1- do u have problem to access you "My Document?
2- your latest/current "My Document" is in partitoin D with previous folder name OR in partition C with new "USER NAME" ?
3- Try: righklick MyDocument and select Properties. there are 3 option where u can :

  • Restore Default
  • Move (move the location of "My Document to another location . e.g.: partition D:\
  • Find Target (to see where is the excact location of your "My Document"

for info, default location of "My Document" is in "C:\Document And Settings\YOUR USERNAME\"
u can move it to partition D:\ for example D:\DOKUMEN BZZTS where "DOKUMEN BZZTS" is a folder containg subfolder ; My Music, My Picture, My Video, etc.

i hope this info helps.

take ownership of the file/folder and delete it after that. you must be an administrator to do this.

try this:

Download Hijackthis and use its "delete a file on reboot" option under misc tools. it will delete files or folders on the next boot, before it becomes locked (in use) by the system.
