Dell vs PC kedai komputer

Hi,

Company aku nak beli beberapa buah PC tapi ramai orang kata Harga Dell sangat mahal.

Tetapi apa yang saya tahu, Harga Dell adalah lebih murah daripada kedai komputer biasa sebab package diaorang ada Windows XP original.



Apa tak sesiapa yang ada pengalaman dengan PC Dell? Spec diaorang OK ke? Kenapalah ramai orang kata ia mahal?

requirement and budget..Example if you asking for  cheap  budget compare with others  PC OEM
they able to bring down cost by bundle 3rd tier motherboard,lower range memory from
Nanya,Lg Dvd drive,ATI lower range graphic card,3 tier lcd display like build by Hon hai
contrast ratio 500-1 .What ever you get still same only quality different..
Customize ordering  Pc advantage for them...

kalo nak compare ngan others jenama mcm ibm, dia tak lah mahal. kalo compare ngan pc klon mmg mahal siikit lar.

kelebihan dell pada aku , dia punya after sales service. Aku setakat ni dah ada 2 pc dell, 1 laptop. semuanya under 3 years warranty.

lagipun aku ni malas nak pergi low yat kalo nak beli komputer.

pgalaman aku ler, servis pc branded, tak kira la NEC, acer, dell, HP... kalo model tu dah discontinued- abih la payah gile nk cari sparepart.

especially power supply dan motherboard.
kalo aku nk amik yg branded pun aku akan amik yg standard casing, standard power supply. bila standard casing, dh tentu le standard motherboard kan? :bgrin: cara tu lebih selamat kalo nak maintain even after warranty expired hatta after product/model dah discontinued.

tapi, kalo aku le, aku prefer klon je.

Dell mungkin satu2nya kompeni branded PC yang bole customize. Ni yang buat Micheal Dell kaya. Spec depa dari segi raw power mmg power... Sebab dia jadi glamer is becuase dia bole customize dan kalu kat overseas, pasal pakej dia datang ngan after sales service (dikatakan cemerlang...), cheap extended warranty dan original WinXP (preinstalled) dan recovery disk. Pastu Dell punya marketing amat aggressive. Skit2 ader offer, double RAM free... upgrade from combo drive to DVDRW free... etc etc...

Review dari majalah PC kata Dell agak bagus PC dia... but notebook dia dapat very good review...

dell nie sesuai utk mcm org x tahu nak service computer laa bg aku... sbb after sale service dia memang mantap...

then notebook dia mmg elok laa, setaraf ngan ibm nyer notebook....

opis aku dah 10 tahun guna Dell (laptop, pc & server). Mula 2006 pc baru semua waranti 5 tahun.

selain Dell kami ada gak brand lain, support Dell paling ok dibandingkan dgn HP Compaq, NEC & Acer.

Yup even in my place uses dell.. mainly optiplex hehee..
suka sgt interior dier.. semua plug and play.. takyah screw..

Satu daripada server aku tgh pakai model NEC jenis entry level tower.Kecik aje mcm tower pc biasa.Tapi server tu running 24/7 for the past 5 years.Amazing betul.Load agak heavy juga pada waktu pagi bila dekat 100 users access website host kat server tu.Itu pun sebab memory ciput aje 384MB.Kalau letak 1GB aku rasa ok la sikit.Server tu running SQL Server 2000 dan IIS5.Tapi tunggu masa aje nak buang server tu dan diganti dengan server baru.
