Cali,
I nak tanya International Airport di Doha tu happening tak mcm ala-ala airport kat Dubai or KLIA ke? atau boring mcm kat CDG?
I kena transit almost 6jam kat sana nanti takut mati kering sebab bosan tak tahu nak buat apa. |

Doha airport ni boring yang amattttttt, lagi boring dari CDG.....selain dari restaurants & duty free (not much choice though) takda benda nak buat..Tapi ada booth untuk free internet so sambil tunggu your flight, boleh jenguk CARI kejap..nak pergi Paris ke?

Hi Sis Calimero and Zentex....I just happened to masuk this thread this morning, x perasan ada pun...
Myself dah 1 year in Doha...sama macam uol jugak accompanying better half. Hb morking in @ Ras Laffan. Commuting an hour @ way everyday to his work place.
Dah setahun kami staying in the Co punya apartment in Musheirib. Where are you guys staying? My place ni right in the older part of Doha. Dekat juga dengan the Souqs, weather permitting boleh jalan kaki. Zen ada mention The Garden Restaurant, oh well kalau itu lebih dekat lagi dari myplace. ..memang walking distance.
Talk about the weather, it is really getting hot now... pagi2 kena lumur sunblock even duk dalam rumah pun...So what are u guys planning to do this week end? |

Your hb Ras Laffan on which project? Mine dengan QCS. Kitorang tinggal kat area Wst Bay (near QIS, Lebanese School & French School). Kat sini dah masuk 9 mths (semalam cakap kat hb, kalau pregnant, dah beranak kot). Ni tak sabar mengira hari nak balik KL...
This weekend duduk kat rumah aje, too hot to venture out there, might go to French Cultural Center & Megamart nak cari taugeh. |

My better half is attached with Dolphin Energy Ltd...Oil n Gas juga lah.
It's true, taugeh yang kita always took for granted kat Malaysia dulu jadi rare commodity here in Doha. I always get them in Family Food Center or kadang2 if I'm lucky dapat kat LuLu Hyper...nak masak apa dgn taugeh tu? |

Ada soalan from my friend yg sdg consider moving to Doha (kerja O&G). Ada 2 soalan, harap someone boleh tolong jawab.
1. Medical exam untuk dapatkan residence permit - wajib buat di government hospital atau boleh buat di private hospital like Al Ahli?
2. How hard nak dapat tempat di international school (British curriculum) utk anak-anak? Kena tunggu lama sebelum dapat tempat ke?

sama with me.. slalu org ingat i'm filipino.. so if masuk kedai SA filipino, some could be really nice but some mcm siot jer.. especially if ada minah arab in the store at the same time... sah2 u ditinggalkan.. kejar konon yg byk duit nak belanja.. :@ |
