YG has confirmed that Se7en will be starring in "Goong 2", although they havent stamped the contracts but it should all be going ahead.
Hwang PD states that Se7en possesses acting ability which is more than enough and is satisfied with casting se7en.
Many have been wondering how Se7en will cope with the upcoming release of his 4th album and they intend to film during the weekdays and he will only be participating on gayo programs on the weekends.
YG states that although they have planned for him to release a single in japan, an album in china and other overseas activities, first of all they want to film this drama.
Goong 2 will be about a prince who does not know he possesses royal blood, working at a chinese restaurant and who will enter the palace.
Because of YG's 10th anniversary concert, Se7en has left for the US and will return to Korea on the 27th, when he will join the rest of the cast (all 4 ppl have been decided) to the reading of the script. Filming will start on the 1st of november and the series will be shown january 2007. |

Se7en, enters hospital suffering from overwork and enteritis
Top star se7en has been overworked and even suffered enteritis (inflammation of the intestines), for which he has been admitted to hospital and is currently receiving treatment.
During the filming of Goong S on the 16th, he fainted and was admitted to hospital
Se7en's company YG entertainment stated "On the 16th after MBC's SHow music core, se7en could not win over enteritis and overwork and was admitted to seoul's sang do dong central university hospital. "
On the 15th, se7en complained of a stomachache and went to the hospital to get some treatment. Because of the need for him to go on Music core and film drama Goong S, he received simple treatment and left the hospital.

Se7en abandons staying in hospital for drama filming
Gasoo se7en has been exhausted with enteritis. At present he is receiving treatment at a seoul university hospital but because of drama filming on the 17th, he will be leaving the hospital and this shows his strong will to act.
Se7en complained that his deteriorating condition on the 15th and said that he didnt feel well inside. He went directly to the hospital and it was suspected he has enteritis. But because of show music core and drama filming, his physical state worsened and after show music core he was admitted to hospital.
Se7en stated that from yesterday that he didnt feel well inside. He thought it was indigestion and had his hand 'pricked' (koreans believe to relieve indigestion u prick ur finger to release the dark blood) but his conditoin worsened afterwards. So he went to the hospital and it was suspected that he had enteritis. Because of se7en's stubborness, he came out of the hospital for show music core and after that finished, e went back to the hospital to get treatment.
The filming of Goong S on the 17th will take place on an island and because the boat to the island will only leave once a week, se7en is forcing himself to do the filming. Although Goong S's team is showing concern, se7en's determination is too strong and it seems like that there is no other way but to film tomorrow.
The hospital advises se7en to receive 3-4 days treatment in hospital but se7en is being stubborn and insists on filming.

SE7EN, who released his 4th album last month, will end his music activities this December. He will be devoting himself to the shooting of the drama "Palace S".
Some days ago, because of his hectic schedule as a singer and actor, SE7EN was hospitalized for enteritis. Yang Hyun Suk, director of YG Entertainment, discussed with SE7EN that he will devote his time to "Palace S" shooting.
SE7EN's 4th album activities will last until the end of the month and after devoting his time for the drama up to March next year, he will have his 4th album concert on April 7, 2007.
In January 2007, YG Entertainment will formally establish YG JAPAN. SE7EN is also planned to have his US debut next year.

Singer-actor Se7en was selected as the top model for Daewoo's handphone brand.
"Se7en already signed the contract and finished his advertisment shoot. Se7en will be receiving 350,000,000 won as a model for 6 months", revealed KTF Technology (KTFT). Song Hye Gyo and Se7en are both image models of this brand and receiving the highest talent fees.
"Se7en's sporty image is compatible with the brand's image. Se7en will give a new vitality to the brand", expressed an "Ever" official.
Se7en, who is currently active as a clothing brand model, will be seen with his new handphone advertisement simultaneously on television and print media starting at the end of January.

Se7en, "Rain and I are not rivals"

"To tell you the truth, since the beginning, there has not been a rivalry issue between me and Rain", Se7en said when asked about him being compared with also singer Rain. Se7en also continued that the media have falsely reported about the issue but it seems that it is just natural for things like this to come out.
"Palace S" cast had a press conference on January 4 at the Seoul Imperial Palace Hotel.
"Aside from both of us performing abroad as Korean singers, there are no other large points in which we are similar. It seems that we are now being compared because of our acting careers but I hope people will see us with different personalities. ", Se7en said.
The singer-actor also expressed his sadness for cutting short his activities as a singer. After the drama, Se7en will immediately prepare for his concert.
"I did 100% of the action, motorcycle, fighting scenes in the drama. Aside from the skateboard scene, I did all the stunts which are not dangerous. I also learned Taekwondo and tire replacement", Se7en shared.
"Palace S" starts airing on January 10.

Se7en Expands Influence into Clothing
Se7en has finally taken the plunge into the acting world - and suddenly, the star's popping up EVERYWHERE! Most recently, Se7en was seen in a clothing commercial. In the cold winter weather, he had to wear a thin t-shirt - and it didn't faze him one bit! Top star Se7en is filming a world-wide known Coca-Cola beverage brand product commercial under a famous Hollywood film director.
Se7en left for Bangkok, Thailand, where he will stay for 4 days and 3 nights, last February 11 to shoot the commercial with Hollywood movie director David Fincher, who directed "Alien 3" and Brad Pitt's "Fight Club".
David Fincher was awarded the "Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Commercials" award in 2003 at the "56th Directors Guild of America Awards".
Recently, Se7en tied a 1 year contract extension with Coca-Cola to be its model, together with new generation stars Ho Jie and JJ Lin.
The singer-actor will return to Korea on the 14th to shoot his drama "Palace S".

Se7en US Single Preparation
Se7en, who is currently busy with his acting career, announced that preparations for his first single album, which will be released in America, is planned to be around April of this year.
"Se7en's 4th album concert is planned on April 7 at the Jamsil Olympic Gymnasium. This will be Se7en's last domestic stage this year", Yang Hyun Suk, director of YG Entertainment, made clear in a message he posted on February 15 at the YG homepage.
Yang Hyun Suk added that after the concert, Se7en will immediately go to the US to shoot his first single album music video.
Se7en's first single album, which was already recorded, was produced by Richie Harrison while famous rapper Fabolous participated in it.
"I listened to Se7en and Fabolous' song and it is really good. It is different from all the other Se7en songs you have heard" expressed Yang.
A new Japanese single promotion and Japan concert tour are planned in June to July. From August to December, sale and promotion of his 1st single album in the US are set.

Se7en, concert tickets sell out in five minutes

Singer Se7en once again proved his young power and popularity.
Recent tickets that went on sale for the Seoul concert to be held on April 7th were sold out in five minutes. Se7en's agency commented, "As soon as ticket sales started on the 26th, all 12,000 or so seats were sold out. Earnings reached approximately 7 billion Korean won."
Se7en will also be holding a Japan tour along with a new single release in June, raising hopes for concert earnings abroad.
Se7en earned 5 billion Korean won from the Tokyo and Osaka concerts (including ticket sales and products).
Meanwhile, Se7en will release his first single in the U.S. after his Japan promotion. He will become the first Korean singer to release a single in the U.S. market.
