More than 10 months have passed since Jang Geun Suk has worked in Korea, due to a controversy involving a tax investigation into his finances, but it has been reported that the singer-actor is looking into some future drama scripts.
The actor was questioned by the National Tax service in September of 2014 under the pretense of under-reporting the income he earned in China, as a result both Jang Geun Suk and the CEO of his company, Tree J Entertainment, had to pay large fines. No further legal action was required. Despite having no charges filed, negative public reception stirred around the singer-actor when the issue was brought up publicly in January resulting in him dropping out of several variety appearances. Since then he has not worked in Korea and has been promoting in both China and Japan, such as releasing a Japanese solo-album, "Monochrome". Thankfully for his fans, it's been recently stated that he's considering making a comeback into Korean entertainment and is looking through a few possible drama scripts. As a fan of his myself, I'm excited about him possibly returning to Korean Drama and hope it's just as good as his previous works like You're Beautiful or Love Rain.
