hmm i graduate dari UTM in Mech. Eng, my fav subject heat transfer and cfd but i end up as a corrosion engineer in Oil and Gas industry for 2 years, i love my job now but i prefer to be a mechani ...
if you are looking for new job scope for mechanical engineering in oil & gas, you may try one of these 3 sub-division in mech.,
1. piping, 2. static, 3. rotating
these 3 are typical for project based oil & gas sector. |

piping dlm plant dgn pipeline banyak beza dari segi code, i.e. ASME B31.3 vs 31.8, so banyak jugak la nak kena cover.
kalau piping routing biasanya piping designer yg buat.
engineer hanya check MTO je (kalau tak pakai PDMS menanah jugak nak buat). |

kalau setakat nak mintak keje banyak jalan, baik cari keje macam Ian Wright.
fresh grad kalau keje oil&gas consultant biasanya start dlm RM 2500 - 3000.
IMO, plant piping lagi banyak peluang keje. sebab plant piping engineer nak convert ke pipeline senang sikit. kalau pipeline nak convert ke piping ada payah sikit.
p/s: aku bukan piping engineer. pendapat kat atas tu hanya personal opinion je |

okay ...i am asking you lots..
i had posed this question on the other thread before but i am dying to know, why oh why, the engineers admire this Tesla guy so much as compared to that Eisntein?
well so far the answer i 've got - tesla invent somehow the radiowave whereas that fella Einstein just proposed the theory of relativity.
okay may be we ( you and I) are of different gender, but what is with this "radio" wave and the "Tesla" thingy that excite people from ur "community" so much?
I am quite interested to see it from ur viewpoint as - how significance are/ is his inventions ( the Tesla guy) and how did / does it transform our lives?
any take on this?

i'm a fan of neither one of them, although I respect their contributions to mankind. my hero is Newton by the way.
maybe an electrical engineer would be better at answering that. |

hmmm, probably the electrical engineer would have better answer,
as of me, tesla is more towards engineering his prove his theory by creating tool of his own experiments, and can be used by others to imprved their life.
rather than einstein, his has more scientific theory, which hardly to be proved with any experiments during his time. most of them used by researcehr |
