I dapat from my mom, she got it from my grandma. Antara item yang di turunkan bila kita kahwin.

I baru kahwin 2 tahun so 2 tahun in my hands. Pinggan kaca simple je tapi sangat berharga untuk i. I think dah berpuluh tahun umur pinggan pinggan tu.

My late grandma bawak balik dari Mekah

Since I was 10 until now (14 years)

I'll usually read it after prayers, whenever I miss my grandma (I lost her 2 years ago. My late gradma meninggal lepas seminggu I balik ke universiti and I tak sempat balik untuk tatap wajah dia untuk kali yang terakhir. Sedih sebab I've been living with her since I was small and kitorang sangatlah rapat, selalu share rahsia sama2, dengar luahan bila dia sedih. She told me to not worry about her, saying that she's alright and she will wait until I get married, but she left me. Tapi dari situ I belajar yang kita tak boleh take things for granted, semuanya pinjaman dari Allah and I believe yang my late grandma dah ada dekat tempat yang lebih baik sekarang). Kalung tu still pakai sampai sekarang coz it means a lot to me and I akan jaga sampi bila2.

This thread really took me awhile to respond to. After a long thought, I trust I have no physical item to be declared as luxury item.

However, being the eldest child and grandchild to my parents and grandparents, I guess I've seen a lot of progressions in the family. I grew up at least until 3 years old, being the only kid in the family so I've got to experience the undivided attention by uncles and aunts before they got married.

I watched them settled down, I've got to play with my little cousins as much as my siblings, I watched each and every of them (family members) progressed in their career, in their life. I watched how their family expanded. We are a close-knit unit.

On personal level, I've obtained sets of skills passed down from the my grandparents which they didn't even inherit even to their children (mom, uncles and aunts) and on certain areas, I am the legitimate gatekeeper of few things not even people older from me have access to. I'm quite honoured and blessed.

To respond to you, I guess my valuable item is definitely my experiences of bearing witness to all the events leading to dynamic of my kinship progress. Wouldn't change it for anything else in the world.

Thank you so much Seri Bulan for granting me space to jot this down. I haven't been putting my gratitude thoughts down for a long time.

Viva 850

A gift from my father. Abah ckp tu hadiah hari jadi. 23 thn hidup, tak penah sekali pun dpt hadiah hari jadi dari abah. Slalu belanja makan je. Sbb gaji abah tak byk. Kena slalu berjimat.

Sebulan lepas tu, abah pun dijemput Ilahi. Sedih sgt. Tak sempat pun naik viva tu sama2 ng abah. Skrg dh 9 thn berlalu. Viva masih peneman setia pegi blk keje kt kl ni.. Walaupun manual, takpelah. Demi kenangan abah.
