VIXX’s Ravi Reveals How Much He Earns in Royalties
Surprising even his own members, VIXX’s Ravi revealed how much he earns in royalties for the songs he wrote lyrics for.
VIXX recently filmed for QTV’s Pretty Boy Communication, joining MC Moon Hee Jun and Eun Ji Won in dissecting the members profiles.
During the segment, it was revealed that Ravi has helped write the lyrics to 16 songs.
“I was thankfully given the opportunity,” said Ravi humbly.
Of course the question that the MCs threw next had to do with royalties Ravi received from the songs.
Ravi revealed that he receives royalties every month, but that it’s not that much. “Just a few million won.”
This was the first time the VIXX members were hearing about Ravi’s royalties, making them say, “We really didn’t know. We thought he was just getting like 100,000 won.”

Vixx Talks About its Goal of Becoming a New Trend in 2014
Vixx is dreaming big in 2014.
Vixx was featured on Mnet’s Wide Entertainment News on January 14 and revealed its plans for future activities as well as its goals.
Vixx received much love and attention from its fans for Voodoo Doll and powerful performances, but the follow-up song that the group started promoting is unexpectedly a ballad song called Thank you for my love.
When asked if performing Thank you for my love is a bit awkward after performing generally intense dance songs, rapper Ravi said, “This is the only track in the album that doesn’t have my part. When the company selected this song, I thought they were abandoning me.”
He then added, “But because of this I can make eye contact with fans for a longer time. I can also look into the camera more easily.”
Hyuk agreed with Ravi by saying, “This is true for all of us except the main vocals Leo and Ken and lead Vocal N. We all feel the same way,” making everyone laugh.
Upon being asked about their goal in 2014, the Vixx members said, “All of us agreed that our hope is to become a trend. We will work hard until the day that Vixx’s music, fashion and everything we do becomes a trend.”
