Top 10 Mobile Phone For 2007...Thanks!!!

|
The good: Slim design; built-in motion sensor; large 2.4-inch LCD; HSDPA connectivity.
The bad: Walkman button too small; poor location of connector port; no onboard 3.5mm audio jack; sub-par camera.
The bottom line: The W910i is great for those looking to purchase a trendy music phone with a little bit of fun, but which doesn't lack in features, although it's a little pricey.
Why is it hot?: The Sony Ericsson W910i is one of those phones that don't particularly stand out, but its trendy design and decent set of features make it an easy choice for spur of the moment purchases.
The good: Slim, attractive design; solid build quality; bundled with a 1GB memory card; 3G; loud speakers; sharp image captures.
The bad: Camera lacks autofocus and flash; buttons are too small; no FM radio; tinny sound quality.
The bottom line: The W880i is slim, sexy and surprisingly packed with features. If you can look past its tiny keys and tinsy sound, this is one music-phone that's worth a closer look.
Why is it hot?: It is super slim, and the keys are equally tiny, too. But for those who can bear with the pecking, the Sony Ericsson W880i is an excellent choice for the skinny pocket.
The Apple iPhone won't be making its way to Asia until 2008 (at least not officially) and the launch date is at best an obscure moving target. For some, it means waiting patiently. For others who don't subscribe to that school of thought, there are already alternatives in the market they can consider and one of them is the LG Prada Phone. While the Sony Ericsson W960i isn't a full touchscreen phone (nor is the Prada anyway), it is the closest thing to an iPhone killer we've seen so far. We managed to wrestle a prototype unit off the Swedish-Japanese manufacturer to take a closer look.
Why is it hot?: Touted as a hot competitor to the Apple iPhone when it was first announced mid-2007, the Sony Ericsson W960i features a 8GB built-in memory and a touchscreen LCD.
The good: Auto-focus and xenon flash on camera; new and improved camera cover.
The bad: Keys are a little too small on the keypad; Web browser could be better; no killer extra features over predecessor.
The bottom line: It's a good camera phone, but it lacks the wow factor of its predecessors. If you already own a K800i then it's not worth upgrading, although others will want to check it out.
Why is it hot?: The Sony Ericsson K810i remains as one of the best camera-phones available on the market with a right combination of design, features and performance.
The good: Solid build quality; numeric keypad in addition to a QWERTY keyboard; Wi-Fi, HSDPA, GPS and Bluetooth stereo; large 800 x 352-pixel screen; supports various messaging clients including BlackBerry Connect; fast processor.
The bad: Typing on the wide keyboard can be tiring after a long while; no fax capability; camera's shutter button doesn't perform up to par.
The bottom line: Strong features and a relatively compact form factor make the E90 Communicator one of the best smart phones in the market today.
Why is it hot?: The Nokia E90 Communicator is probably one of the most feature-packed smart phones equipped with a QWERTY keyboard that's targeted at the enterprise market.
The good: Slim and sexy design; thumbwheel provides a BlackBerry-like user experience; microSD expansion slot; HSDPA, 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity; supports A2DP; user-friendly interface; excellent sound quality on speakerphone; second battery included.
The bad: QWERTY keyboard needs some getting used to especially for users with large digits; proprietary port for charging and synchronizing phone; no audio port; basic camera feature set; no onboard flash light.
The bottom line: Easily the king of connectivity in the QWERTY-equipped smart phones category, the i600 boasts strong features in a sexy, compact, monoblock form factor.
Why is it hot?: Smart phones doesn't necessarily need to have a boring design and the Samsung Ultra Messaging i600 bears testament to it.
The good: Slim design; sharp color screen; easy-to-use keypad; slick-looking user interface that keeps it simple.
The bad: No auto-focus or flash on the camera; lack of 3G connectivity.
The bottom line: While this isn't the most advanced handset out there, it has a strong casing, a decent all-round feature set and an elegant, straightforward design. This is Nokia at its best.
Why is it hot?: The Nokia 6300 gets back to basics, combining modern design and good old-fashioned simplicity. This is Nokia at its best.
The good: HSDPA; Wi-Fi; onboard GPS; 5-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss lens; 3.5mm audio jack; mini-USB connector.
The bad: Build quality doesn't justify the premium price; poor battery life; sluggish performance when multiple applications are running; premium price.
The bottom line: There's no doubt that the Nokia N95 is one of the most full-featured smart phones available right now, but its poor battery life could very well be its Achilles' heel.
Why is it hot?: In terms of features, no other phone even comes close to the N95. The N95 has been succeeded by the N95 (8GB) which comes in a sleeker shade of black and better performance, making the popular smart phone even better.
The good: Compact design; 3.2-megapixel camera with autofocus; responsive interface; FM radio and music player; office productivity applications; support for Exchange syncing.
The bad: No HSDPA; QWERTY keyboard takes some getting used to; thin stylus; requires optional accessory to use standard headphones.
The bottom line: The P series is now slim and compact but still remains feature-packed for business users. Those considering one will just have to get used to the uncommon space-saving keyboard layout.
Why is it hot?: Shedding the bulky design of the earlier P-series handsets, the P1i is now slim and compact, yet retains an extensive list of features
The good: Dedicated camera controls; microSD and Memory Stick Micro compatibility; Xenon flash and LED light; Bluetooth stereo; HSDPA connectivity.
The bad: Glossy surface attracts fingerprints; tiny buttons may not appeal to some.
The bottom line: The K850i Cyber-shot is one of the best camera-phones available in the market right now, thanks to its dedicated controls, good performance and natural-looking images.
Why is it hot?: Coming from a legacy of successful camera-phones under the Cyber-shot umbrella, the Sony Ericsson K850i is the most read, most clicked, most talk-about 5-megapixel camera-phone of the year. The hype around it doesn't pale in comparison with the Apple iPhone. 'Nuff said.
