baru2 nie petrosains ada anjurkn ptandingan science actology.. it's more into theatre la.. theme dia "what does energy mean to you"... theatre nie fully in english. skul kit0rg p0n participate gak. skrg nie me n my members ada la rough sketch utk theatre yg akn kitorg wat nie..skrg nie bleh x suggest skit  any ideas f0r our synopsis..

kitorg nk wat psal dua ekor robot nih.. kirenyer ni main characters theatre kitorg la.. 1st skali nk explain how tht robots get their source enrgy utk bfungsi.. iaitu solar energy..nie explainationnyer...




The robots that we use are moving by heat energy trough radiation. A solar panel that is made up of many solar cells helps our robots to turn sunlight directly into electricity that enables the robots to move. Each cell of the solar panel contains layer of two different kinds of silicon. When sunlight hits the cell, tiny particles called electrons move from one layer to the other, creating a small current.

The sun抯 warm rays of light shine downs through the Earth抯 atmosphere providing energy for the robots. This process is a way in which heat energy is transferred from the sun to the robots without the medium taking any part in the process.
As a result, the energy which is stored in the robots converts to kinetic, sound and light energy. This can cause the movement, communication and present of light on the robots body.

Ko kena baca dulu camner solar panel berfungsi... Aku rasa explanation ko camner solar panel tu berfungsi salah. Tenaga elektrik yg dihasilkan dlm solar panel tu bukan dari tenaga haba dari matahari, tapi dari tenaga cahaya it sendiri. Cahaya (light) is made of particles called photons. Mungkin ko tak blaja lagi pasal photons kot. Jadi utk explanation solar panel tu ko tulis jer la. Tenaga cahaya ---> Tenaga elektrik.

Utk simpan tenaga supaya bleh guna waktu mendung/malam, pakai bateri cas la. Waktu ada cahaya, tenaga cahaya tu guna utk aktiviti robot tu dan juga utk cas bateri tu. Tapi mungkin cara ni kurang praktikal, sebab bergantung pada efficiency solar panel ngan berapa aktif robot ko... Maksud aku, robot yg 100% guna tenaga cahaya buat masa skrg ni mungkin ko takkan dapat cipta. Jadi robot ni mungkin perlu sumber tenaga yg lain selain tenaga cahaya. Cthnya pakai fuel ker, bateri kering ker...

Robot yg ko nak cipta ni aper fungsinya?

Hmm... secara technicalnya, mungkin paragraph tu misleading skit. Maksud aku, kalau profesor2 fizik baca, ada yg akan membangkang sebab statement2 ko tu kurang tepat. Tapi pada pendapat aku, boleh tahan la paragraph ni.

Aku cadang ubah skit sentence pertama tu
"When the sun rises, it's light rays which comprises of beams of 'packets' of energy called photons pierces through the Earth atmosphere."

Tak tahu kalau cikgu fizik ko dah terangkan ko atau tidak... Dlm teori fizik klasikal oleh Maxwell, cahaya ni sejenis gelombang elektromagnetik. Tapi teori ni tak dpt menjelaskan beberapa fenomena cthnya The Photoelectric Effect. Hanya teori baru yg dicipta oleh Planck sahaja yg dapat menjelaskan fenomena yg pelik ni. Dlm teori baru oleh Planck ni, (nama teori ni ialah The Quantum Theory) cahaya bukanlah gelombang eletromagnetik  spt dlm teori Maxwell, tapi terdiri drp satu beam of particles/packets of energy yg dipanggil photons. Sebab tu la aku cadang ko ubah skit ayat pertama tu...
