Antara langkah menangani jenayah rentas sempadan, termasuk aktiviti penyeludupan adalah pembinaan tembok sempadan Kelantan-Thailand.
Justeru menurut Menteri Besar Kelantan, Datuk Mohd Nassuruddin Daud, kos projek pembinaan tembok sempadan dianggarkan 445.748 juta ringgit, termasuk kos pengambilan tanah.
