Synopsis
Set in a dazzling blend of past and present, the story follows Chef Yeon Ji Yeong, a perfectionist French-trained chef at the peak of her culinary career, who is suddenly transported back in time to the royal palace. There, she’s forced to cook for an infamously temperamental tyrant, King Yi Heon, a ruler with a killer palate and a deadly temper.
Yeon Ji Yeong is a modern woman caught in a cutthroat world of palace politics, survival cooking, and unexpected romance. Her mission? Survive the royal kitchen, win over the impossible King, and maybe, just maybe, rewrite the future.
King Yi Heon is a ruler whose sharp mind and sharper tongue make him both feared and misunderstood. 1) "Bon Appétite, Your Majesty" takes over tvN's Sat. & Sun. 21:20 time slot previously occupied by "Law and the City" and followed by "Typhoon Family" October, 2025.
2) Based on web novel "Yeonsankunui Chefro Salanamki” by Park Kuk-Jae (published October 5, 2022 - August 31, 2023 via Naver).
3) Actor Park Sung-Hoon was first cast to play the lead male role of King Lee Heon, but he was involved in controversy after posting on December 30, 2024 an explicit image from a parody AV video of the Netflix series "Squid Game" on his Instagram Story. Following that incident, production company Studio Dragon and Park Sung-Hoon came to the decision to have him step down from his role in the drama series.

Baru sampai epi 2 sekerat jalan…somehow iols suka citer ni walaupun tak minat pelakon2nya…yoona is a bit annoying & overacting but i still can enjoy the drama…maybe sbb memang tgh dlm mood utk tgk citer yg tak perlu kena byk pikir…lagi satu iols suka tgk dishes featured dlm citer ni…n blh dpt byk ilmu dlm bidang masakan…
Btw jauh gak gap umur antara ML & FL in real life…11 tahun tu…

Hensem lah Lee Chae Min ni…sblm ni pun memang dah hensem tapi dlm citer ni lebih lagi…sbb kamera fokus slow mo kat muka dia bila dia tgh makan tu…tapi xdelah nmpk sgt pun age gap dia dgn yoona…pandai2lah editing team letak filter, kan…rasa ada je chemistry…
Anyway king dah appoint Yeon Ji Yeong jadi ketua tukang masak istana…tapi queen dowager pulak nak test skill chef Yeon…kena compete dgn tukang masak senior kat situ…siapa kalah, lengan kena potong…

Epi 4 memang best…patutlah rating tinggi…
Mcm tgk culinary class wars…as expected chef yeon menang sbb dish yg dia prepare tu berjaya menyentuh hati queen dowager…tapi raja yg tyrant ni nak jugak laksanakan hukuman potong tangan kat tukang2 masak lagi 2 org tu…tapi chef yeon merayu kat raja jgn proceed dgn hukuman tu…
Byk persoalan sbnrnya pasal latar belakang raja ni e.g. apa jadi kat mak dia sampai ada masanya dia anxiety teruk camtu sekali, apa konspirasi yg berlaku dlm istana…
