Other than Employee Provident Fund (EPF @ KWSP), all employee and employer in Malaysia are required to contribute to Social Security Organization (SOSCO) or also known as Pertubuhan Keselamatan Social (PERKESO). SOSCO provides protection to its member in term of medical and cash benefits, which include work related injuries, illness and disabilities, accidents and death at work place. If you still want to confirm your Pertubuhan Keselamatan Social (PERKESO) @ Social Security Organization (SOSCO) number, you may:1) Call to SOSCO @ PERKESO customer service number 03-4257 5755 (Monday-Friday, 7:45am-5:15pm). I've tried this. The friendly customer service gave me my SOCSO number in less than 1 minute

2) Check online for your SOSCO @ PERKESO number. Key in your IC number, and you will be shown your name and IC number (which is your SOSCO number)
