When I was about 25 years old, I worked with two very good actors. The encounters were brief, but I’ve remembered them both with great admiration. Wanda Ventham and Timothy Carlton both embodied qualities which one is fogyishly tempted to look at with nostalgia. Along with very considerable talent, they had elegance, glamor, wit, kindness and decency.

I didn’t know at the time that they were married or that they had a son of about 10 who was quietly gestating all the same attributes. And now, 30 years later, the boy has been let loose. He has taken the form of Benedict Cumberbatch.

His parents’ qualities are on rampant display. It’s rare to the point outlandish to find so many variables in one actor, including features which ought to be incompatible: vulnerability, a sense of danger, a clear intellect, honesty, courage — and a rather alarming energy. I take no pleasure in feeling humbled, but there’s no getting around it.

He must be stopped.

hahaha..cian abam Ben.takperlah horsey face pun ramai yg minat ..okay dia di New York ada sebab...ingat tak fashion editor Anna Wintour,dia ni
orang kuat Met Ball ( apakah Met Ball) Majlus tari menari ni anjuran tahunan untuk collect dana ( charity event)untul support Metropolitan Museum Art dan badan amal lain -lain . Tahu tak tiket dia berapa? US25,000 sorang nak pengsan baca. Anyway majlis ni ada tema,mcm last year punk tapi kali ni tema dia white tie code dan decoration...

so abam ben kena pakai mcm ni lah kut ( kalau betul tekaan dia org)

anna wintour ni i penah baca kat mana ntah, katanya suka mengendeng selebriti2 tgh naik....lg 1, suspek gf abam ben lady kinvara tu penah interview anna wintour thn ni..hihi...and 1 gi, ada 1 charity event kat mana ntah, thn lepas punyer kot, abam ben,lady kinvara n anna wintour penah ada sekali dlm event tu...taktau la ada kene mengene psl anna wintour baik ngan abam ben ke apa...sajer iols nk citer..hihi

jgn xtau uols, abam johnny depp amik inspirasi rambut anna wintour ni utk watak willie wonka...ntah kenapa, iols rasa anna wintour ni hidup dia cam lifeless jer walupun powerful n dikelilingi ramai org terkenal...gara2 terpengaruh citer devil wears prada tu kot..hihi
