UPSR tak lama lg.
Pasti ada parents tgh membuat pertimbangan nak hantar anak ke mrsm atau sbp.
boleh share agak2 mana yg terbaik utk anak. |

kalau ikut ranking sbpi terbaik, mrsm jgn ambil mrsm muar dan mrsm muadzam sebab mrsm buangan atau tempat pelajar mrsm bermasalah kena hantar sana.
sbpi kalau boleh target sbpi agama smart labu negeri 9.. akak dulu pergi sekolah tu terasa diri akak pandai. tengok muka adik2 sana cerah berseri macam ada lightning effect.
dia orang ni ngaji n jaga ahlak, bab buli kurang, jadi anak2 terpelihara daripada noda duniawi. kalau dpt upsr 5A jgn lupa belanja akak makan kfc. akak doakan anak sis dpt 5A  |

sekolah biasa je.. masuk asrama nanti xdapat spend time dengan parents.. banyak terjadi to my ex schoolmates, duduk asrama then received calls from family saying mak ayah meninggal. haru kan? |

at the end of the day, sekolah bagus mana pun won't take you anywhere if you yourself tak berusaha untuk good grades plus panjang lagi perjalanan hidup.. esok dah masuk uni you rasa nak amik course nio then bila nak keje xde keje yg you nak you'd end up taking a totally dofferent job lagi la xde kena mengena with what you learned.. just my 2 cents |

Better tengok dulu sekolah tu mcmana. Tak boleh pukul rata semua sbp atau mrsm tu bagus. What to consider: 1. Keputusan akademik sekolah, 2. Disiplin budak2, 3. Pengetua sekolah.

i don't quite agree with the statement. its not just what the teacher teach, but the environment that counts utk membentuk sahsiah diri pelajar. remaja nih complicated stage. do believe that majority budak2 yg high flyers ni amat kurang masalah disiplin. jgn compare dgn ideal case semua atas diri sendiri. for example i never went for any tuition class or do revision, homework pun selalu xbuat; but my name would be no1 ranking all the time. i do not assume same case for my kids.
my f1 in sek men rancangan khas.. but i was terribly homesick n demanded to my late father utk masuk sekolah biasa. but f4 i got mrsm n my late father ckp prove to yourself that you can go through it. solat berjamaah selalu, prep time utk study/revision dan waktu petang utk bersukan.. keluar outing ngan kawan2.. pertandingan antara kelas, etc.. entah, banyak sgt nak list sini.
i struggled a lot last year for my 1st child placement utk F1. despite she got just min requirement (UPSR xdpt all A's) utk mrsm, sbp n sek men kawalan, despite i buat rayuan bagai tapi tak dapat. i enrolled her to private boarding school. alhamdulillah in the past 2 exams she is the 2nd in the whole F1 students. my 2nd child is now at std5, i have already started scouting options for him incase if he doesnt get mrsm/sbp/sek men kawalan.
my daughter xtinggal solat 5waktu berjamaah kat sekolah sbb mereka ada konsep kalau % org solat subuh turun down to certain value, xda dobi utk seminggu; kena basuh baju sendiri secara manual. selain tu, skrg dah 8bulan my daughter sekolah situ, every month balik rumah i can clearly see her behavioral change; nampak lebih responsible dan boleh handle things better.
my opinion, mrsm culture is no1 then sbp followed by sek men kawalan. kena ingat juga, despite there are options to choose, there is also possibility you will not get what you've chosen. enrolling them doesnt mean its over. kena monitor their feedback, kena gi sekolah dan validate the feedback. kalau perlu tukarkan, you need to make the decision.
at the end of the day, tanya soalan pada diri sendiri.. will you not regret your choice made for your child today.

tips utk dptkan penempatan MRSM, jgn apply SBP. SBP selection first, jika nama dah ada di SBP, nama tak akan dihantar ke MARA utk pemilihan MRSM dah.
Jadi kena fikirkan awal sebelum result keluar jika anda yakin anak akan score UPSR lah!

Actully my eldest (form 1) in MRSM Ulul Albab. Dia mmg happy di situ malah tak homesick lgsg. I pulak yg asyik rindu.
So i dah rasa tak nak hantar anak ke MRSM sbb kebanyakkannya jauh dr bandar. Yg terdekat dgn rumah pun ambil masa 2jam perjalanan. So tak dpt pergi tgk selalu.
Jd tuk adik dia ni yg akan seat this incoming UPSR i ingat nak masukkan di SBP sbb ada yg dekat rumah. 15 mnt je tp bila tanya pendapat ramai yg cakap MRSM better than SBP(tak ambil kira ranking) dr segi sahsiah pelajar, pendedahan aktiviti yg byk & etc tu yg buat i berfikir 2 kali nk hantar ke SBP. |

Personally, mmg I prefer MRSM to SBP. I was from STF masa Form 1, tp x tahan homesick hehe. Masuk balik sekolah biasa then Form 4 masuk MRSM TGB. The teachers, education methods, ambience mmg best. Tp kalau boleh, I still think Form 1 tu terlalu awal for boarding schools. But then again, mmg betol kebanyakannya kena depends on budak2 to sendiri..

Betul...akak pun dulu asal sbp jugak...ntahlah akak x rasa istimewa sngt..sbb tu lah anak2 akak , kami hntr ke sek harian biasa cuma pastikan dia di kelas ptama. Boleh kita monitor mrk... |

salam...nak mintak pendapat kalau anak dapat sbp tapi keinginan hati nak masuk MRSM nak buat mcmana yer?pening sy...anak dpt sekolah kluster kecemerlangan n sbp..tapi dia nak tunggu MRSM jugak..klu sy tahu dari awal sy tak mintak sbp..betul ke kalau dh dapat sbp, MRSM mmg x dapat? |

kena banyak buat research pasal sekolah2 ni students and environment mcm mana. and tengok juga anak macam mana. macam i jenis kena pergi tuition, f1 masuk sbp melingkup terus sebab hostel kan kena independent. |

Anak dah pun dpt masuk sbp so skrg tgh dok pujuk supaya dpt stay kat situ..dlm masa yg sama masih mengaharp dpt mrsm..
