Terminator: Dark Fate

Ahead of the trailer debut for Terminator: Dark Fate tomorrow, Paramount Pictures and Skydance have released the first teaser poster today. Dark Fate is described as a sequel to James Cameron’s iconic 1991 follow-up Terminator 2: Judgment Day and finds Linda Hamilton reprising her role as Sarah Connor for the first time since that film. Arnold Schwarzenegger is also back at the T-800, with a story that takes the franchise in a new direction with new leads played by Mackenzie Davis (Halt and Catch Fire), Natalia Reyes (Birds of Passage), Gabriel Luna (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), and Diego Boneta (Rock of Ages). Luna plays the new Terminator.
Until now, we haven’t exactly known when, where or, how the story takes place—sequels post-T2 have shown us very different pre- and post-Judgment Day worlds. But according to the tagline on this poster, Terminator: Dark Fate takes place the day after Judgment Day, and Sarah Connor is locked, loaded, and ready to roll.
Cameron is involved as a producer this time around, steering a story that’s spearheaded by director Tim Miller, who previously helmed the smash-hit R-rated comic book adaptation Deadpool. Additionally, the poster reveals some preliminary screenplay credit details, as the story is credited to Cameron, Charles Eglee (who created the Cameron-produced TV series Dark Angel) and Josh Friedman (who created the TV series The Sarah Connor Chronicles) with “ampersand” credits meaning they all worked together, with David Goyer (Man of Steel) and Justin Rhodes (Grassroots) earning a separate “story by” credit, as it appears Goyer and Rhodes came onto the project a bit later. The screenplay is credited to Goyer and Rhodes as co-writers, and Billy Ray (Captain Phillips) separately—meaning Ray probably came in to do a rewrite of Goyer and Rhodes’ script. TLDR: writing major blockbuster movies is a difficult task.

Macam reboot je, James Cameron involve balik. Terminator 3, Salvation dgn Genisys dia tak terlibat langsung, sebab tu dia sambung daripada Terminator 2. Tapi pelakon2 dah tua, diorang guna CGI ke nanti muka Arnold dgn Linda Hamilton untuk nampak lebih muda? Cerita bila dah melibatkan time travel boleh je pusing2 sampai dah jadi pening. Boleh je buat ending ala2 tergantung selagi rasa nak buat sequel, Judgement Day tu sampai ke sudah ler tak dapat stop selagi nak buat sequel, pusing2 macam mana pun tetap tak dapat stop Judgement Day, walaupun timeline utk Judgement Day tu boleh berubah. Budak yang diorang pilih jadi John Connor (Jude Collie, fresh face), ada iras2 Edward Furlong, maybe sengaja ambik muka ada iras. Edward Furlong tu cute betul tapi sayang rosak sebab tak dapat handle fame pada usia muda. |

dah tengok dah citer ni. ntahla maybe faktor aku penat kot, citer ni mmg action-packed la dari mula smpi akhir, tp ntahla mcm mendatar je jalan citer dia.
pastu francais ni aku rasa mmg takkan berakhir, sbb die menunjukkan yg judgment day tu mmg akan tetap berlaku gak no matter la ko buat ape pun. cumanye, dulu musuh adalah skynet, tapi skrang ni legion.

hakak kasi 7.0/10 tp akak recommend la korg tengok citer ni kalau nak tgk action semata-mata. |

Sesuai buat mereka yang suka menonton filem aksi. Kadang agak mengelirukan dan sedikit bosan pun ada bila terlalu banyak flash back. Tak ada lah wow sangat seperti yang ramai nanti2kan sebelum ni dan ada sedikit longgar. Nampaknya filem ini akan ada sambungannya juga nanti sejak ada penambahan watak baru dalam series kali ini. Kalau siapa yang rindukan dan meninggu ucapan Hasta La Vista Baby pasti akan hampa hingga kehujungnya. Overall bagi 7/10 je |

Aku cam konfius sikit semalam.. bukan ke John Connor selamat kenapa dia mati ek.. bukan dalam rise of the machine dia hidup ke masa aku gi toilet terkucil aku miss information.. aku puji filem ni aksi si Grace lawan Rev 9 tu memang best yang watak Latina tu yup agak annoying.. macam watak budak perempuan dalam Transformers Last Night tu.. |

kepahaman aku mcm ni. Sarah n John berjaya stop apocalypse, so kirenye in the future tu takde la skynet. tp robot T800 si arnold susah-nak-eja tu kan masih lg terperangkap di masa sekarang, dan die mmg dah diprogramkan utk bunuh John, so die pun bunuhla John (tp part ni pun aku tak paham gak sbb dalam T2 kan ending die si T800 tu bunuh diri utk elakkan skynet ni wujud di masa depan. habeh yg muncul ni maybe mmg robot2 yg dihantar skynet dari future utk bunuh John la, maybe kot).
tapi walaupun skynet dah tak wujud, akan ada jugak kuasa seakan2 skynet yg tujuan pun same gak mcm skynet, namenye legion.
so pd pendpt aku, dlm francais terminator nih, rise of the machines, salvation, and terminator yg hauk tak ingat aku dah ape tajuknye mmg tak wujud la, sbb pd timeline dark fate ni bile John Connor dah mati.
kirenye terminator ni mmg universe yg lagi berserabut dari X-Men la hahhaa

Versi yang ni John Connor mati? Tak bestnye, nasib baik iols tak pegi tengok kat cinema, buang karan je rasa. Iols anggap je ler versi yang ni tak wujud, keluar tv pun belum tentu rasa nak tengok setakat ni |
