[ILMU MUDAH}: Cara Mudah Memahami Thyroid Function Test (TFT)

Di bawah adalah cara mudah untuk memahami cara thyroid hormone dirembeskan.
Pituitary akan rembes TSH.
TSH akan activate thyroid gland utk rembes T4 dan sedikit T3.
Didalam tissue, T4 akan diconvert menjadi T3.
T3 inilah yang mempunyai kesan ''thyroid''.
Bila level T4 dan T3 dan cukup byk, T4 dan T3 ini akan membuat Pituitary berhenti merembes TSH (negative feedback).
Jika kita hyperthyroid, maka T4 dan T3 adalah sgt tinggi dan TSH akan jadi sgt rendah (kerana negative fedback).
Jika kita hypothyroid, maka T4 dan T3 akan jadi sgt sedikit dan TSH akan terus menerus dirembes tanpa negative feedback.

thanks dr ipes.iols ada masalah hypertyrodism sblum ni. pastu pi buat rawatan RAI then rendah sgt plak jd hypo plak. susah gak nak adjust hormon tiroid ni.

eh mudah la jg thyroid yg hypo ni, amik thyroxine tu je lah
amik first thing in the morning, 30 min atau sejam sebelum makan or amik ubat lain
sbb thyroxine ni dikacau oleh byk food dan ubat lain
letak pil tepi alarm clock, bgn je terus amik, pastu boleh la pi toilet ke gosok gigi ke, mandi etc

My doc pun ckp hypo senang jaga tak life threatening. Hyper plak takut jadi thyroid storm. Puaslah menggoogle thyroid storm. I buat RAI dulu selepas dia start kacau jantung. Palpitations teruk sgt. Scan jantung katanya lambat mengepam sort of. So doc kata tak de pilihan kena buat RAI. |

Metabolik rate dah slow. Saya jln 3/4 kali seminggu around 4 km. mkn pun jaga juga. Tulah berat badan susah nak turun.. |

Assalam doc dah dot semua result. Dari my ct scan doc kata kemungkinan sgt besar I kena TB kelenjar. What is TB kelenjar? Now buat procedure utk pastikan pulak.. |

Salam.
Saya jawabkan secara simple nanti doc ipes sihat dia jawab in details
Hyperthyroid ni (nama pun ada Hype pada awal sentence) - bezanya ia mengeluarkan hormone tyroid yg terlebih lebih yang boleh menyebabkan degupan jantung laju. Anxiety and ada juga weight loss.. so bila ni berlaku drastically akan menganggu kesihatan badan kita and leads to others.
Hope membantu, lain lain doctor akan jelaskan. Tq
