ADSL 600E CONFIG

Aku nak mintak tolong sape yg bleh jar aku camne nak configure adsl 600e nih..

so skrg nie prob aku camnie..
first aku citer camne aku nyer connection...
aku sambung dari modem ke switch..
aku dah set kan master password kat modem tu through 192.168.1.1
spy pc lain bleh terus connect internet bila cucuk kat switch..

so skrg nie...bila semua pc on..dalam berapa minit jer...semer connection down..
aku dah give up laa..macam2 cara aku dah buat,,
hope kalo ada sapa2 yg tere bleh laa tolong aku ekk...


one more thing..kan kalo kite access modem tu guna 192.168.1.1
kite bleh tgk seme config utk modem 600e nih..
so aku nk gak tahu kalo sape2 yg expert yg seme config tuh..
share ngan aku ekk..

adsl 600e <------------ni jenama ape? aztech ke.. aku google adsl 600e byk
kalo aztech bukan ke modem/router..ip add 192.168.1.1 nih ip add sape? ip add modem/router ni ke ip add pc ko
bukan ke kena set password kat modem/router tuh?

Sume pc yang connect ke switch ko memang bleh akses 192.168.1.1
Takde cara lain selain letak password ko sendiri.. biasanya default password ADMIN kan..

Yang connection down kejap2 tu. aku rasa ko kena setkan IP setiap pc jadi statik dulu kot. kalo tak dia akan mati ikut lease time

Set DHCP dulu
Gi kat Setup - DHCP configuration
Try setup camni



Pastu nk jadi IP kan statik gi kat
Advanced - LAN clients - Bawah ni gambar contoh je
Biasanya IP setiap pc yang connect ke switch ko akan keluar kat sini..
Kat Dynamic Address ko mark RESERVE.

before you connect all the computers to the switch, have you tried accessing the internet by just connecting one computer directly to the modem after you set the password on the modem? if it worked, then try connecting the computers one by one on the switch and see if it can access the internet.

when you said all connections are down, do you see if the LEDs on the switch are still on? try connect one computer only to the switch and see if it can ping the modem IP (192.168.1.1). on the modem, make sure your dhcp server config is on (you don't need to set static IP for each computer once this is on). if setup correctly, your modem dhcp server will assign IP address to each computer automatically and you should be able to see them under dynamic IP addresses status. if not, you need to assign static IP on each computer. make sure the lease time is long enough (set it to expire in a day).

if you still have problem, after connecting all the computers to the switch, shutdown the modem and wait for about 20 seconds. then start it and it should start assign IP addresses to the computers.

setau aku laaa kan... DHCP setting takyah usik apa2.
gi masuk dekat Setup> Login Settings masukkan:
username@streamyx
password
vpi-0, vci-35
pastu connect.
lepas connect ko klik save button.
pastu reboot utk test samada setting tadi melekat atau tak.
kalu tak, cuba setkan skali lagi dan save sampai melekat.

setel bhagian dialer.

ko setup lak IP address kat pc lain scara manual. kalau auto, selalunya akan sebabkan network down dan konflik IP.
pc 1:
IP: 192.168.1.xxx (xxx TAK BULEH angka 1 & 255) contoh 192.168.1.88, 192.168.1.15, 192.168.1.89
subnet mask: 255.255.255.0 (default)
gateway: 192.168.1.1 (modem router tu ialah internet gateway)

DNS:
Preferred: 202.188.0.133 (tmnet recommended)
Alternate: 202.188.1.5 (tmnet recommended)



kalo ko tau DNS lain, share-share la kat sini yer... :nerd:

dlm gambar ni dah nampak ip start ialah 192.168.1.2 maknanya IP dekat pc ko buleh setkan bermula dgn angka 2. dan END IP ialah 192.168.1.254 maknanya 254 ialah limit dia.

Firstly, Thanks everyone for helping me... skrg nie aku yg aku buat..aku setkan master password kat modem tuh. than aku buat static ip means aku setkan ip setiap pc yg dalam LAN aku. dari kul 6 ptg semalam sampai pagi nie connection ok.tak terputus2 dah.

Tp ada mender lain yg jadi lak...

1.so skrg nie aku download guna utorrent..so..at certain time aku nyer torrent gila..dia tulis camnie..cannot map upnp..camtu laa kot..aku tak sure..kalo sblm nie aku mmg tak boleh langsung nk dw guna torrent until aku onkan upnp kat modem nyer config tu sendiri..so..bila aku dah on kan upnp nyer function jd ok laa..tp masalah nyer skrg macam aku cite kat atas laa..torrent aku stop at certain time..aku kena off kan dulu and masuk balik utorrent tu and aku kena buat update tracker until dia start dw baru aku boleh biar dia dw sendir..kalo aku tak buat camtu..confirm dia tak kan bleh download..so..korang ada idea tak pasal upnp nie..ada paper lagi ka aku kena setting spy mudahlaa aku nk dw guna torrent..

2.boleh korang citer kat mana aku nak setkan "lease time" tuh..

3.so skrg nie ada 3 pc jer dalam LAN aku. dua pc yg kaki dw..skrg nie aku nk tahu napa bila time 2 pc tu tgh dw gila2 nya, pc yg lain internet dia lembab gila..nk surfing pun jadi tension..aku pakai package yg 1mb tuh..bukan ape sbb aku tgk org lain siap 8 org dalam LAN dia and 6 org kaki dw tp time surfing ok je kat pc lain..sape ada idea tlg ekk..

4.last question..kenapa YM kami asik terkeluar??..kalo time buat single connection tak de laa pulak jadi camnie..prob2 kecik yg camnie laa buat aku rasa cam nk tendang pc tuh..

so aku rasa tu je kot masalah aku setakat nie..korang tlg aku ekk..aku nie insan yg lemah..

kalau dah set static ip on all computers, tak payah set lease time. lease time ni untuk dynamic ip saje (you set it on dhcp server - in this case your modem under dhcp config).

kalau masalah ni, biasanya you're using a hub instead of a switch. cuba check betul-betul samada your device tu a hub or a switch. hub, you share the line (the more the collision, the slower the connection). switch, each computer has dedicated line until they get to the modem (your gateway).

for this, refer to #3. setiap internet related request ada its own time out. if an application cannot contact its target server in certain time, the request will be dropped. when your ym connects to its target server, in reality, the connection is not permanent (feels like it but it's not). instead, you're sending a request at certain time interval. so, kalau connection is too slow, there's a possibility the request will drop before it even gets to the internet. so, i think, if you solved #3, #4 should be solved also.

alang2 ko citer torent, leh tau tak donlod ko dpt bape speed? :nerd:

YM ni kalau server tak poblem, mungkin internet ko dah sempit buatkan connection loss dgn server YM.
maksud aku ko torent sampai speed yg tinggal tak cukup utk YM.
better ko setkan limit utk setiap file yg ko donlot dari torent tuh.
