kalo nk laju, kena buat TWEAK, CRACK dan apa2 yg perlu pada pc...
bagi aku, network kad PCI skrg guna 100mbps (normal). tapi, speed network kad ni kena ikut hub atau switch. kalau cam umah aku ni guna hub 10mbps je. maka, network kad aku takleh capai 100mbps. max cuma 10mbps aje la.
kalau wireless pulak, ko guna usb 54mbps. wireless ni plak bergantung pada kualiti signal. kalau jauh sangat dengan access point, speed kualiti akan terjejas. usb pulak kena la stabil (stabil software, driver dan usb windows/OS ). |

for internet speed, the only way to increase the speed is to increase the bandwidth that you subscribe from your isp. if you have 100 mbps nic, but your bandwidth is 2 mbps, that's all you're going to get. 2 mbps is actually fast enough, provided you subscribe a dedicated line. otherwise, that's your max which you'll hardly reach. it's also depend on the connection of your target server. if they have only 128 kbps, then that's all you'll get. you have no control over it, especially if you have to share with millions of other users.
the only speed you can surely control is your LAN. you can set it up to be 10, 100 or even 1000 mbps, depending on what kind of network equipments you have. for better performance, use switch not hub. switch, you get dedicated line. hub, you share the bandwidth. so, if you have 4 ports switch, each device at those 4 ports will have 10 mbps connectivity until it gets to your internet gateway. for hub, you need to divide 10 mbps by 4, which becomes 2.5 mbps for each port on average plus collisions in the hub before reaching your internet gateway.
