amik kat sini (credits goes to owner)

Recipe for wanton skin: To make just enough for 500grams of mince meat fillings.
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 and 1/2 cups of plain flour
  • 1 tbsp of water
  • 1/2 tbsp of vegetable oil
  • pinch of salt
Beat the egg first, add salt, 1 cup of flour and water to mix itwell. Add the remaining 1/2 cup of flour gradually, until it is wellmixed, nice and firm, but not too tough. The dough should be mediumfirm. Let it rest for 5 mins, then knead again.

This time roll the pinch out ball sized dough, roll out on a flouredsurface and rolling pin. As moisture in the air tends to make thewanton skin sticky, keep them nicely dusted with flour after rollingthem

saya ada beli cooking desserts and dim sum with agnes...dia ajar buat skin dimsum aja, kulit wantan dia tak ajar, malah dia guna readymade skin aja. mmg ada lard...well, bila dah tau ni..hati2 la. Saya sdg buat research, nk cari idea dan good resepi utk kulit wantan ni.

tak penah buat kulit wantan sebab snang dijumpai kat supermarket.



wantan yang Coki buat bulan lepas.. ni seblum digoreng.


NI pulak lepas digoreng garing2...

Resepi Kulit Wantan

Bahan2:
600 gm tepung serbaguna
sedikit tepung iagung (untuk menabur)
400 ml air – boleh tambah jika perlu
1 biji telur
1 sudu teh garam

Cara2nya:
-gaulkan tepung serbaguna dan garam bersama air (sebaik2nya air hendaklah di masukkan sedikit demi sedikit bagi memastikan ianya sesuai dengan adunan tepung)
-uli hingga menjadi doh yang lembut
-rehatkan doh selama 30 minit dan tutup dengan tuala lembab
-setelah 30 minit, uli lagi doh tadi dan biarkan 10 minit
-canai doh hingga nipis dan tabur dengan sedikit tepung jagung supaya tidak melekat
-terap dengan acuan berbentuk 4 segi atau potong mengikut suka
-lapiskan tiap-tiap keping wantan dengan tepung jagung supaya tidak melekat dan simpan dalam peti sejuk

saya pernah buat kulit wantan sekali, jadi tp tak nipis sangat...then baru2 ni saya beli yg ready made halal n buat wantan goreng....isinya senang je...isi udang, isi stick ketam, dan sayur campur forzen tu kisar....n perasakan dengan minyak bijan n kicap cair knife.....

dumpling skin pada saya lagi better...n nak buat dumpling /wontan goreng segera..just beli crab stick or fish cake...(potong ukuran yg sesuai) then balutkan dengan dumpling/ wontan skin...then goreng....sedap......terutama crab stick tu
