salam..
hai entahlah..tetiba hari nih,aku nak meroyan citer2 yg mmberi kesan pd ingatan korang..
kalu cam sama..merge jer lah..memula aku cam nak hijack tred juwaini..tp aku nengok 'genre' cam lain jer..he..he..
jom share citer2 yg korang masih ingat sgt lagi..tak kiralah sebak ker, kelakar ker,bangang ker..etc..
aku hilite dulu yer..

citer ni tlalu dekat dgn jiwa aku..bermcm2 isu ada dlm citer ni..
ikatan kekeluargaan yg pathetic,unconditional love antara dunn & maggie,kehidupan marhaen..dan perasaan seorg insan yg selalu facing under appreciated situation dlm kehidupan..malah dilekehkan oleh family sendiri..terutama ibu kandung sendiri..
sedangkan ada seorg insan lain yg boleh menyayani maggie spt seorg ayah..wpun sering diklisekan oleh family sendiri..kononnya sbg sugar daddy..
part paling 'best' masa maggie paralyze kat hospital,dunn aje yg jaga..pastu mak,adik2 dia dtg siap bergumbira.br alik dr disneyland..siap bawak lawyer dgn agreement utk trasfer asset maggie...
entahlah,takut aku citer lari dari tajuk..korang bacalah plot nya sendirik..
Plot
Margareth Fitzgerald, a waitress and aspiring boxer, leaves her Missouri town in the Ozarks for Los Angeles, where she trains in the gym of Frankie Dunn, a brilliant but down-and-out boxing trainer who has been cast aside by his colleagues and relatives, including his estranged daughter Katy. Dunn initially refuses to train Maggie because she is a woman and almost 32 years old. Maggie, however, perseveres in her attempts to win Dunn over by training each day in his gym, even when others discourage her. Frank's friend and employee, ex-boxer Eddie "Scrap Iron" Dupris narrates the story in non-dialogue scenes.
After Dunn eventually agrees to train Maggie, she fights her way up to the women's welterweight boxing division, winning many of her fights with first-round knockouts. Lacking a close relationship with his own daughter, who returns his letters unopened, Dunn comes to establish a strong bond with Maggie, whose own family cares little for her well-being. When Maggie buys her mother a house with some of her winnings, she berates Maggie for risking her and Maggie's sister's welfare and Medicare benefits, saying that Maggie should have just given her the cash so that the government would not be aware that she had assets. In addition, her mother mocks her success in the ring, saying that everyone is laughing at her at home for what she's doing.
Eventually, Dunn secures Maggie a $1 million title match in Las Vegas against the WBA women's welterweight champion, Billie the Blue Bear, a former German prostitute who is known as a dirty fighter. After a shaky start, Maggie begins to dominate the fight, but after a round has ended, Billie hits her from behind, sending her falling toward the upside-down corner stool that was just placed in the ring. Maggie's head hits the stool at an awkward angle, breaking her neck. As a result, Maggie is paralyzed from the neck down. Dunn initially blames Scrap for convincing him to train Maggie, but in the end he blames himself for having worked with her against his better judgment.
In a medical rehabilitation facility, Maggie hopes that her family will visit her, though Dunn repeatedly calls them with no success. Eventually, the family arrives—after first visiting Disneyland and Universal Studios Hollywood, with an attorney in tow, to arrange the transfer of Maggie's assets to them. Maggie reveals that she retained the title to the house she gave her family and gives them a choice: leave and never contact her again, or Maggie will sell the house and leave them homeless. Her defeated family leaves and does not return.
Maggie asks Dunn to be relieved of her suffering and help her die. Dunn refuses, but does speak with his priest, who objects to the idea of euthanasia, sympathetically but firmly saying that it is murder. Maggie then attempts suicide by biting her tongue multiple times in an attempt to bleed to death. Though hospital staff prevent further suicide attempts, Dunn decides that Maggie's suffering should not continue, and he injects her with an overdose of adrenaline.Just before administering the injection, Dunn finally tells Maggie the meaning of the nickname by which he has called her; the phrase, Mo Chuisle (spelled incorrectly in the film as "mo cuishle"), which is Irish for
"my darling, and my blood" (literally, "my pulse"). Afterwards, as Scrap explains, Dunn disappears. Scrap's narration is revealed to be a letter to Dunn's daughter, Katy, informing her of her father's true character.

part paling sedih..masa dah selesai 'misi terancang' diaorg..recall/flashback balik ms zaman diaorg bebudak,comel2..ms tgh suka2..main kat kaw perumahan dia org..sampailah diaorg mati,kena tembak..kawin, ataupun melara cam tuh ajer..dlm citer tuh,..brad pitt jadik bujang tua ajer,duduk kat kg,berkebun,berburu..he..he..

Synopsis
Lorenzo "Shakes" Carcaterra, Thomas "Tommy" Marcano, Michael Sullivan and John Reilly are four childhood friends (played by Joseph Perrino, Jonathan Tucker, Brad Renfro and Geoffrey Wigdor respectively) who grow up in Hell's Kitchen, New York City in the mid-1960s. During this time, the local priest, Father Bobby (Robert De Niro), plays a very important part in their lives and keeps an eye on them. However, early on they start running small errands for a local gangster, King Benny (Vittorio Gassman), who later turns out to be a very important contact.
On a summers day in 1967, their lives take a sharp turn when they almost kill a man after pulling a prank on a hot dog vendor. As a punishment they are all four sentenced to serve time at the Wilkinson Home for Boys in upstate New York. There, the boys are systematically beaten, abused and raped by guards Sean Nokes, Henry Addison, Adam Styler and Ralph Ferguson (played by Kevin Bacon, Jeffrey Donovan, Lennie Loftin and Terry Kinney respectively). These traumatic events change the boys and their friendship forever.
More than 10 years later, John and Tommy (as adults, played by Ron Eldard and Billy Crudup), now gangsters, come across Sean Nokes in a pub in Hell's Kitchen. After making sure that Nokes knows who they are, they both shoot and kill Nokes. Mike, as an adult (played by Brad Pitt), now an assistant District Attorney, arranges to be assigned to the case, secretly intending to lose it as a means of getting revenge. Moreover, he and Shakes, as an adult (played by Jason Patric), begin to forge a plan to get their revenge on all the responsible guards. Together with many of their lifelong friends, especially Carol, a social worker played by Minnie Driver and King Benny, they manage to collect information on all the Wilkinson guards.
However, to clinch the case they need a key witness who can give John and Tommy an alibi. After a long talk with Father Bobby, including telling him about the awful events at Wilkinson, he agrees to lie on the stand about where John and Tommy were on the night of the shooting; the priest swears under oath that they were with him at Madison Square Garden at a Knicks basketball game. As a result, they are found not guilty

b) THE INTERPRETER.......i love the way Nicole Kidman potrays herself as a lady who had lost nearly everything, thematurity of her - by "default" companion - Sean Penn ( i like the part yg dia dah taklarat sangat tu lepas the bus bombings), love the verbal exchanges between Nic and Sean Penn kat UN lobby tu ...like the script though , script , tema , mesej dia bagus
