"Others Kena Also!" Air Asia Passenger Alleged Flight Attendant Overcharged His Drink, Accuses Her Of Earning Illegal Money Out Of Scamming Customers

In a recent incident reported by Facebook user Brendan Kon, a series of overcharging instances during an AirAsia flight from Kuching to KL, Flight AK5209 on December 14th yesterday, has left passengers questioning the airline's transparency in their pricing policies.
According to Kon's account, he ordered a hot Americano onboard and was quoted a price of RM12 by a flight attendant. Having only RM11, the attendant agreed to the reduced payment. However, Brendan, questioning the legitimacy of the discount, wondered, "I started wondering who gave her the authority to offer a discount and who would cover the shortfall?"
He later discovered that the beverage's actual price was RM9. Upon confrontation, the attendant refunded the difference in cash. Suspecting a pattern, Brendan asked his wife, who had also ordered snacks, if she was charged extra, and indeed, she was. Following this, Brendan discovered that fellow passengers seated nearby had also been similarly overcharged by the same attendant, after questioning them.
Expressing his concern on Facebook, Kon cautioned fellow passengers to scrutinize their bills for in-flight purchases, suspecting this practice as a potential way for some flight attendants to make extra money. "It appears this is the modus operandi of some unscrupulous flight attendants to make extra money," he added. "Be extra vigilant and always check your bills if you purchase any in-flight food or merchandise when you fly with AirAsia."
The post quickly gained traction on the platform, garnering over 1.9K likes and 3.4K shares at the time of writing.
Despite the viral attention, AirAsia has yet to release an official statement addressing the incident or providing clarification regarding the alleged overcharging

Serbuk kopi tu dia beli kat bawah lepas tu bawa naik kapal
Bijak ya. Bukan perlu isu resit pun beli atas kapal terbang tu. Senang nk auta audit. |

Ya ka. Ada anak buah keje AA ni kata pilot dorang well treated. Sheols tu lawyer palatao gaji pilot pulok kot la ada kes ka. Tah lah.

dulu aku pernah dpt offer jadi FA AA. mmg kocik gaji dia plus work benefit dia mmg less attractive compare to other airlines. kalau tak takkan la gigih kena menjual2 dlm flight.
