Bel mmg suka sgt makan makanan yang berkaramel. Bila makan pretzel aut anne tu suka makn dgn caramel dip dia. so wonder la cemana nak buat. dah try macam2 resepi tp tak jadi. One fine day bel jumpa resepi ni dan beranikan diri mencuba. Akhirnya berjaya juga! so kalau korang nak cuba boleh ikut cara2 kat bawah.

bahannya cuma setin susu pekat manis atau krimer manis. Pilihla brand yang fav memasing.
then buangkan pembalutnya dan masukkan dlm periuk besar. Tuang air hingga menenggelamkan tin tadi, kira2 lebih 2-3 inci dr tin. (boleh buat 2-3 tin sekaligus). Pastikan tin tenggelam sepenuhnya SETIAP MASA. Then rebus sehingga 2-3 jam. lagi lama rebus lagi pekat dan gelap kaler caramel yg kita dpt. lepas tu tunggu sejuk baru boleh tebuk tin dan transfer ke dlm bekas lain.






kalau nak guna microwave n slow cooker pun boleh

DDL ni boleh guna untuk macam-macam masakan.
Bel dah try buat brownies and mlm ni nak buat DDl rolls pula!

pernah buat dulu tapi double boil (tuang susu di dalam stainless steel bowl)......... ambil masa around 3 jam..................

sudah jumpa........... double boil dengan api kecil (simmering water), kacau sekali sekala, 3 - 6 jam.

kalau terlalu lama jadi macam candy/toffee......... jadi as long as colournya dah warna caramel, kita tutup sebab akan pekat sudah sejuk nanti........

nanti buat experiment lagi.............

aiyo ai macam takut aje nak rebus susu pekat dengan tin2nya sekali.. takut bahan kimia dalam tin tu abis meresap dalam karamelnya
