Just after last night's Season 2 finale, plenty are already excited for what is to come for the 3rd season. Since there will be plenty of news to come about, I decided to make a new thread early. Here's what we know so far (some of which is possible to not happen, but plenty has been confirmed or mentioned):
This season will be the senior year for the Glee club.
During this season at some point, Anne Hathaway will guest star as Kurt's lesbian aunt. She was supposed to be in season 2 but due to scheduling conflicts, it was post-poned to season 3. It is still unknown if it'll be just for one episode or recurring and whether she'll sing or not.
Despite what was said at Paleyfest, Blaine may not transfer to McKinley after all and the Warblers may be kept on longer.
There's talk on set that the Warblers are to be kept around and will start going on tour seperate from the Glee cast along with Darren Criss. If this is finalised, it may affect Blaine transferring.
Holly Holiday will be back.
The Warblers will be on the show as long as Blaine is at Dalton. If/When he transfers will be their final appearance.
Tom Cruise, Penelope Cruz, and Nicole Scherzinger are possible to appear in series 3.
A new character, who is a failed and jaded pop star who is now teaching a Glee Club at a rival school, may be introduced. Its also hinted that the character will have a musical number.
Harry Shum Jr. (Mike Chang) has been promoted to a regular, and will officially be billed as one at the start of this series.
Despite rumours, Darren Criss (Blaine Anderson) has revealed that he is not yet a regular and he hasn't heard anything about becoming one.
Nothing has been revealed about promotions for Ashley Fink (Lauren Zizes), Chord Overstreet (Sam Evans), or Max Adler (David Karofsky).
Iqbal Theba (Principal Figgins) confirmed on Twitter that Max Adler (David Karofsky) would not be written out of the series for season 3, meaning he as well will be appearing.
Mike O'Malley (Burt Hummel) is guaranteed appearances in at least 6 episodes in series 3.
Carol Burnett will reprise her role as Sue's nazi-hunting mother, Doris.
All regulars are back next season. That includes Burt, Emma and Sue. Terri's character will not be on the show in regular character anymore.

Chord Overstreet Is Done With Glee
Is he mad? Why would anyone want to give up being on a hit show, and Glee at that! But its been pretty much confirmed that Chord Overstreet has voluntarily left the building and will not be returning to McKinley high next season.
Chord confirmed the bad news to fans on Twitter. “Well it's been a good yr too bad it's over, time for summer and starting fresh... I will deff make a solo album! There is nothing stopping me.” However it was reported that he is open to occasionally stopping by for guest appearances.
Distraught fans went on a Twitter blitz airing their grievances at the news. In response too Zap2it came up with 10 reasons Chord (as Sam Evans) should stay on, and the funnier reasons among them were; he can get away with wearing tiny gold shorts and that, with his floppy blonde hairdo is the only one in the cast who can attract Beliebers.
But despite their best efforts Chord is sticking with his decision to quit the hit show.

Menurut Ryan Murphy, Lea Michele yang membawa watak Rachel, Chris Colfer (Kurt) dan Cory Monteith (Finn) tidak akan muncul dalam siri kegemaran ramai itu pada musim keempat yang dijadual disiarkan pada 2012.
Keputusan itu dibuat bagi memastikan drama komedi yang menampilkan sekumpulan pelajar yang menyertai kelab koir di sekolah menengah lebih realistik dan boleh dipercayai.
"Kami boleh mengekalkan watak mereka di dalam rancangan itu selama enam tahun tetapi penonton akan mengkritik kerana ia tidak realistik.
"Lagipun semasa rancangan itu bermula, pelakon-pelakon itu tahu mereka merupakan pelajar tahun dua dan akan menamatkan persekolahan tidak lama lagi," kata Murphy kepada Hollywood Reporter.
Murphy turut mencadangkan beberapa watak digugurkan daripada rancangan tersebut apabila habis musim ketiga yang dijadual bermula pada Mei 2012.
Tambahnya, perancangan selepas alam persekolahan merupakan tema utama untuk rancangan itu yang pernah memenangi anugerah Emmy yang akan masuk musim ketiga bermula pada 20 September ini. - Reuters
