Camels are a British family Fossett

In the breeding of domesticated camels, there is nothing unusual.  Bactrian and odnogorbye species in many areas of Asia and Africa.  Mainly engaged in their cultivation in Kazakhstan and Mongolia, where they are important economic animals that perform many functions.  But, you see, camels, living in an English county - it is not quite ordinary.

  A.  Rebecca and Joseph Fossett with his children (Daisy - age 13, Leo - 10 years) and a camel, nicknamed «Kazak» posing for family photos at home in derevnke Aydlikot, county Warwickshire.  In all, six Fossettov live animals: «Ruby», «Sahara», «Sophia», «Kokoso», «Kazak» and «Veneta».  They graze on the field next to the house.  (Picture: Richard Grange / Barcroft India)

Two.  Villagers have become accustomed to the fact that Fossetty sometimes use animals as an alternative mode of transport.  The family traveled by camel to the local stores for shopping.  (Picture: Richard Grange / Barcroft India)

Three.  The school is also sometimes possible to get an unusual way.  (Picture: Richard Grange / Barcroft India)

  4.  Rebecca says: "They - just part of our family.  Children are joking that we love more than their camels.  In the local pub on the plate even has the inscription "Welcome to the dogs ... and camels. '"  (Picture: Richard Grange / Barcroft India)

Five.  The family owns three odnogorbymi and three two-humped camel for the past five years.  Joseph was raised in a family circus, so he has great experience in dealing with these animals, which can weigh up to 2,000 kg.  (Picture: Richard Grange / Barcroft India)

  6.  52 hletny Joseph says: "When I was a kid, I had my camel, and since then I am very fond of.  We had a lot of dogs, cats, ferrets ... but camels are absolutely priceless.  I would not trade them for all the tea in China.  We are the only people in the UK who have a whole herd, and we are not going to change anything. "  (Picture: Richard Grange / Barcroft India)

Rebecca adds: "The camels among people unfairly bad reputation.  People think that animals have a bad character, that they constantly spit, and from them smells bad.  But this is absolutely untrue.  They love people and always rush to the gate of the garden, like when someone passed. "

Eight.  The content of the herd costs thousands of pounds a year.  In the year goes up to 400 bales of hay and thousands of gallons of water.  Fossett pets fed sugar beet, barley and oats.  And the quality of fresh strawberry goodies fit.  (Picture: Richard Grange / Barcroft India)

Joseph says: "They are not the cheapest pets.  Similarly, it is difficult to determine how much we spend.  A lot of hidden costs: for example, care and maintenance of the stables.  You should know exactly how to take care of them.  Knowing their needs, I would not recommend them to start if you have a few acres of land. "

  9.  After the last two have been brought up a camel, the pair decided to create his own company, "Joseph Amazing Camels."  Pedigreed animals hired for parties, events and competitions.  (Picture: Richard Grange / Barcroft India)

  10.  Rebecca says: "People love to hire them on a case-Arab parties, kids love them.  At the present time, we provide camels for all occasions - camel polo and camel rides, even as a wedding transport. "  (Picture: Richard Grange / Barcroft India)
