The Unisols are back, and so is a villainous Jean-Claude Van Damme. The actor has returned for another sequel, called Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning. The film is the fourth installment in the Universal Soldier franchise—technically sixth, if you consider Brothers in Arms and Unfinished Business. But most people don't, and with good reason. This time around, Van Damme's Luc Deveraux is channeling Marlon Brando in Apocalypse Now, complete with a shaved head.
Van Damme is joined by Dolph Lundgren, who appeared in the original 1992 film as well as 2010's Regeneration. For some odd reason, his character just can't stay dead. They'll share the screen with actor and stuntman extraordinaire Scott Adkins.
Side note: All three men also appear in The Expendables 2.
Here's the short but sweet synopsis of the film:
"Luc Deveraux, the original Unisol, is back and evil with the clone of Sgt. Andrew Scott, both seeking to bring havoc to Unisol John's domestic life."
