ALL NEW COURSES AT AMBER CHIA ACADEMY

In line with the new year, Amber Chia Academy (ACA) will be introducing three brand new courses to its repertoire - namely Superstar Bride, Flight Attendant Pro, and Pageant Pro. “From courses for fashion and beauty to professional skills, we are proud to continuously expand the list of services, skills, and expertise, that our academy can offer,” beams ACA founder and principal Amber Chia.The first of its kind ever in Malaysia, Superstar Bride is a one to one course to give each respective couple a more personal touch. As marriage is a significant milestone, we strive to elevate couples’ stress and worries by coaching and preparing them for an ideal wedding day, and also wedding photography session.

On the other hand, Flight Attendant Pro aims to prepare students for those infamous and grueling airline interview sessions. For this course, ACA roped in specialists Lester Hsu and Suresh Thaker - former Malaysia Airlines cabin crew and trainers with over 30 years experience each - to provide students with first hand insight and advice, preparing them for the industry. ACA co-founder and catwalk guru Benjamin Toong,also a former cabin crew with 12 years experience himself, explains: “To give them an extra edge,students will have undergone the Professional Five Star Service Training - skills vital to the hospitality and customer service industry - upon completion of this course.”

As for Pageant Pro, the course equips aspiring beauty queens with fundamentals to shine, and subsequently win, at pageants. Testament to the effectiveness of its tutelage, ACA already boasts of an impressive list of beauty queens from its modelling alumni. Amongst them include the reigning Miss Universe Malaysia 2013 Carey Ng, Miss World Malaysia 2011 Chloe Chen, Miss World Malaysia 2010 Nadia Heng, Miss Malaysia ASEAN 2012 Eileen Chuah, Miss Malaysia Kebaya 2012 Jean Lee, Miss Malaysia
Tourism World 2012 Kim Low, Miss Malaysia Model of the World 2011 Angelica Yap, and also Miss Malaysia International Model of the Year 2012 Cheryll Ho, just to name a few.

These new courses will be officially announced today at a special ACA 1313 Media Session to be held at the premises of ACA in Jaya One, Petaling Jaya. Also present to grace the session will be the eight beauty queens mentioned above. The success of the ACA 1313 Media Session will not be possible without the support of partner Skincode, along with sponsors Shock Media Studio, Carlsberg Malaysia, and Office Cosmetics.

Additionally, in the spirit of all things new, ACA - which was named the Most Popular Modelling School at last year’s Malaysia Model Festival Awards - will also launch a revamped business website, after having run the previous version since the beginning of its operations two and a half years ago.
