About #4, we think a better statement is, “Henry Cavill Is The New Napoleon Solo.” Henry has admitted he never watched the original series because he wanted to bring Guy Ritchie’s vision to life. So don’t expect to see a lot of Robert Vaughn in Henry’s portrayal.
And #9, this movie is all about 100% human Napoleon Solo, no alien super powers here. The baddie might get the drop for a moment on Solo, but we have no doubt that Napoleon and Illya will win the day. Afterall, the powers that be are already talking sequel. Which leads us to #10.

‘The Man from U.N.C.L.E.’ is the first film to be made under filmmaker Guy Ritchie’s and producer Lionel Wigram’s new production shingle, Ritchie/Wigram Productions, which has a first-look deal with Warner Bros. Having re-imagined the classic detective Sherlock Holmes in two hit films, the pair now bring their fresh take on the hugely popular 1960s television series by bringing super spies Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin to the big screen.
The screenplay is written by Ritchie and Wigram, who also serve as producers. John Davis (Chronicle) and Steve Clark-Hall (RocknRolla, the Sherlock Holmes films) are also producing. David Dobkin is executive producer. Ritchie’s behind-the-scenes creative team includes two-time Oscar-nominated director of photography John Mathieson (Gladiator), production designer Oliver Scholl (Jumper), editor James Herbert (the Sherlock Holmes films), Oscar-nominated costume designer Joanna Johnston (Lincoln) and Oscar-winning key makeup and hair designer Sarah Monzani (Quest for Fire, upcoming Edge of Tomorrow).
okay dah tanya sama aku punya pakcit @uncle,..dia cakap... UNCLE niialah siri penyiasatan berupa cerita spy atau pentintip. Kalau di muvee, James Bond 007 adalah muvee terlaris tetapi di tivi, UNCLE menguasai peminat seluruh dunia. Ia ada kelainan terutama gajet yang digunakan oleh pelakon utama iaitu Robert Vaughn yang memegang watak sebagai Napoleon Solo. Wataknya dicipta sebagai orang yang cerdik tak perlu menggunakan kekerasan untuk menumpaskan lawan. Sesekali ada juga pertarungan melawan orang jahat; dia menggunakan ilmu bela diri karate. Dengan sekali hentakkan di leher, penjahat mudah pengsan.
Solo dibantu oleh seorang watak side kick iaitu David McCallum sebagai Illya Kuryakin. David ialah pelakon British yang menggunakan telo lidah Russia apabila bertutur kerana kononnya dia adalah orang
Russia yang bekerja di Pusat Perisik UNCLE.Setiap kali Illya muncul, dia mencuri perhatian penonton terutama BBNU. Sebabnya ialah dia kurang berdialog, suka bertindak pantas dan dia suka membawa alat2 rahsia perisikan untuk berhubung dengan Solo mahupun UNCLE tidak menggunakan talipon biasa. Talipon rahsianya ialah pen, kotak rokok jenama Lucky Strike, jam tangan yang dijadikan alat penghubung.
i have seen the trailers - hmm...interesting ....very 60's ye. very much of the cold war era gitu and yes ade scene Regent's park , scene perkenalan semua agents tu ....i think...
well.. wut can I say .... I simply love this mobie so much...
~ cara penyampaian cerita ala ala tahun 60an ... yang mana bagi iols teramat menarik sekali ... cara penyamaran dan style agent2 60-an ... tiada pengunaan gadget2 yang canggih manggih .. pengunaan satelite ... henpon bagai tetapi still menarik dan menghiburkan ...
~ gandingan Henry .. Armie dan Alicia sememangnya mantap ... tetapi hubungan antara Henry dan Armie mmg ada chemistry ... dah ler dua dua ncem ... mmg merembes sepanjang masa nonton mobie nie
~ Skrip yang ringkas ... action pun tak over sesangat... jalan citer tak serius sesangat ... aksi dan skrip lucu yang disampaikan secara spontan mmg akan membuat penonton gelak terhibur sepanjang mobie ni ditayangkan ...
Overall ... iols rate mobie ni 8.5/10 ...
*Sesapa yang membuat subtle mobie ni mmg kelako giler ar .... ada satu scene tu, perbualan antara henry dan armie semacam perbualan gay sesangat ... lagi lagi kalo yang nonton tu 100% rely on subtle utk memahami jln citer...
bit kecewa ngan this movie.. but just because me terlebih letak expectation & telampau excited huhu

- pacing cerita agak slow
- UST between Illya & Gaby agak hot tapi sometimes too cheesy & unnecessary
- background song, sekali dua diaorang up volume to the max best gak. tapi lepas tu rasa annoying giler
- Carvil gaya spy dah ada. cuma not really convincing
- even watak Hammer pon me susah nak percaya dia actually dangerous KGB agent
- tapi maybe susah kot nak fokus betol-betol dekat character since kena cram cerita pasal 3 cast dalam 2 jam movie, and most of the time diaorang tak share screen time
