Damsel in distress, ex dancer. She is being trained to be a SPY and not even closed to an assassins.
Due to her situation, she is being taken advantage.
Too intense nakedness probably director is following based on the novel.
You can’t blame the accent, as director choice to have to an American top actress as lead.
Movie is slow, not much action. Except only the murder & torture scene.
Plot twist comes kind of unsurprised, who is the actual culprit.
It is more of drama, mystery and thriller.
Why Jennifer Lawrence? Acclaimed top star. One of highest gross paid actress.
Why Joel Edgerton? Bcoz the production could not afford other top paying actor…cause they have to pay Jennifer Lawrence a few million already
Ok my views. Not my kind of movie to rewatch for the 2nd time. 5/10
