Mowgli is an upcoming live-action adventure fantasy film directed by Andy Serkis and written by Callie Kloves, based on The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling about a boy who grew up in the wild.The film stars Rohan Chand, Matthew Rhys, and Freida Pinto, with motion capture performances from Serkis, Christian Bale, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Hollander, Peter Mullan, Naomie Harris, Eddie Marsan, Jack Reynor and Cate Blanchett.
The film is scheduled to be released on 19 October 2018.The film will have a Real D 3D and IMAX 3D release.

Motion capture and live action are blended for “Mowgli,” a new, big-screen, 3D adaptation of Rudyard Kipling’s classic The Jungle Book.
The film features an impressive roster of stars under the direction of Andy Serkis.
The story follows the upbringing of the human child Mowgli, raised by a wolf pack in the jungles of India. As he learns the often harsh rules of the jungle, under the tutelage of a bear named Baloo and a panther named Bagheera, Mowgli becomes accepted by the animals of the jungle as one of their own. All but one: the fearsome tiger Shere Khan. But there may be greater dangers lurking in the jungle, as Mowgli comes face to face with his human origins.

yang ni versi lain, bukan The Jungle Book versi Disney tu. Watak Mowgli tu pun pelakon lain yang bawak. Disney memang nak buat sequel untuk The Jungle Book, patut next year keluar tapi dah postpone
Jungle Book movie versi 2016, is under Walt Disney production and directed by Jon Favreau (Happy Hogan, aka director of Iron Man)
More suitable for kids & family film.
Filem kali nih, under Warner Bros. And dah lama been in production.
As per director Andy Serkis (Caesar, Planet of the Apes) under his directing, jungle book kali nih is more darker version.
Note that all star cast is a voice over character.
