Gyokusendo cave is the largest stalactite cave in East Asia discovered in 1967. The cave contains about 950,000 large stalagmites. This is an extraordinary landscape that has been formed over 300,000 years. The length of the cave is about 5 km, of which only 890 m in the cave are open for the public . So far, Gyokusendo is still one of the most popular attractions in Okinawa .

Stalactite is formed by the cumulative calcification of water droplets, and the calcium carbonate components gradually precipitate and accumulate, forming a variety of stalactites. Those stalactites are still growing now.
In the cave, if you look closely, maybe can see some fish or small creatures in the water~~
The road inside the cave is damp and needs to be walked carefully, otherwise, will fall down accidentally.
