hidayah dan akal

why do these people being so much quoted for in this debate of faith Vs cognition?

i mean we do not have to u know have them lock, stock and barrel...they just guys  whi have certain views so ?

but what is the opinion of  Islamic Scholar? Al - Ghazali ker or who ever?

and for those figures above, the proponents will surely support them but then what are  counter arguments to Aquinas , from the opponents of course.

ofkos i will quote ibn rushd or imam ghazali or ibn taimiyah or ibn arabi, or jalaludin rumi or hamzah fansuri or... hamka given time..

btw it is surprising tau bagaimana pandangan mereka semua, Islam Kristian even yahudi hampir2 sama when it come to persoalan iman dan akal...

Iman Ghazali misalnya got his pair in the form of Descartes on many things
and Aquinas is humbly ibn Rushd
etc...

bagi saya iman dan akal ni ialah sesuatu yg org beragama pasti akan kaji... tak kiralah agama apapun... sebab ia adalah persoalan universal... dan persoalan umum manusia beragama...
malah dah masuk domain sains pun..

kalau tak kerana ibn rushd misalnya aristotles mungkin orang dah tak sebut2 lagi...
dari mana lahirnya ilmu dan ahli kalam kalau bukan kerana logic/mantik aristotles...
dari mana agaknya konsep2 seperti katalah the First Mover atau the Cause etc etc kalau bukan kerana mantik aristotles?

so kena bersihkan hati lapangkan fikiran...
ilmu tuhan bukan turun di kalangan orang Islam saja...
