Help!!!problem with MPLab SIM...

i have use assembly language to write a program for PIC16F877A..
how can i check the functioning of my writing program before i burn it into chip??
is it doing simulation through MPLab SIM??

what's the sequential if i use MPLab IDE to burn chip..is it flow like this??
asm file --- MPLab SIM --- MPLab ICD --- PIC StartPlus???

i have save my file in the format of .asm, after that i try to build it, and the output show 'BUILD SUCCEEDED'..

so, next step is it i have to use MPSIM??
i have try it..i follow what have been taugt at QUICK START GUIDE, with my own programming,but i seen can't work..

in that Guide, DEBUGGER--RESET--PROCESSOR RESET; DEBUGGER--STEP INTO;
when i press it, the arrow didn't come out at my writing programming window..

after that, i just press 'RUN', the output show
"CORE-E0002:Stack under flow error occurred from instruction at 0x000005"..

so, i don't know how to do now...

is it anybody know which website i can get more information about how to use MPSIM??
