Absolutely. The ark rested on the mountains of ararat, not mt.Ararat itself.
You prove me point. Thank you.
Below is your question - and who is the person who wrote mt.ararat ?
kharrr kharrr kharrrr
QUOTE:
Even the Quranic version of where the final resting place ofNoah arcwhich is Mt Judi has been described by scientists as more accuratethanMt Ararat as most people believed..
Wrong, the Bible did not say the ark rested on mt.ararat itself. Shows younever read the Bible yourself.
The location ofmt.judi itself is confusing. |

whats your point? So what if you know how many mountains are in the mountain range?
To know exactly where Ararat is located.

There are two peaks in question. One is on the peak of Mt Ararat and the other on the peak of Mt Judi.
So archeological findings had weighed more evidence on Mt Judi.
I stand by my statement that the interpretion in the Quran , that the flood was localised as being stated by many learned muslims.
If Debmey wants to argue based on biblical evidences, many are just pure myths.
TQ. This will be my last post in this thread. |

Like I said before, the flood can be localised or not, because the Holy Quran didn't mentioned about it clearly. So, whether we (Muslims) whether it was localised or not...Both can be acceptable.
Because the most important thing is the moral of the story. |

but iman6 says that the quran interpretation is that it was localised. please show us if that is so. |

If Iman said that, he also right.Because the flood was either LOCALISED OR NOT.So, he can intepret that.Like I said. The more important thing is the moral of the story. |
|

So why did he interpret it that way? What is teh basis of the interpretation? |

Like I said, the Holy Quran whether the flood is localised or not,BUT you don't have to worry about the flood, Allah tried to tell us the lesson from the punishment He gave to the people of Noah.He is not asking you to debate about flood. So, either you or Iman, not wrong about the location or how big the flood was. Allah knows best. |

geologists do recognise a worldwide flood, so the quran must be wrong.
if indeed muslims do believe that the ark rested on mt.cudi, then the flood cannot be localised can it? |

The Quran doesn't wrong because it doesn't make commentary about how big the flood and whether it is localised or not. So, how can you say Quran is wrong? |
