hi everybody,

baru2 ni kwn sy dpt satu projek utk supply n fix fire fighting equipment dlm kapal. nak cari supplier up to his demand punya la susah.

anybody knows about this type of bisnes tak?

ape yg kita perlu ade utk involve dlm this kind of job, i mean lesen n what not.tried cr dlm laman web bomba, lsg x de explaination on this.

its depend on owner punya requirement.

selalunya kalau owner - govt, fire fighthing ni kena PKK, kepala berapa tak ingat..

supplier banyak kat luar sana... google jer

Ini aku berikan procedure yg aku biasa buat:

1) Andai kata kau dah dapat (or akan dapat that contract), so kau perlu minta Letter of Intend daripada company yg bagi contract tu.

2) Ambik LOI tu, jumpa bank dahulu, dapatkan surat from bank yg menyatakan bank sedia offer facility kepada kau kelak.

3) Ambil LOI dan surat support from bank, kau hantar surat kepada vendor yg boleh buat this job. Macam yang Puan Hazel cakap, ada banyak kat dalam market. Cari aja. Tapi kau kena nego lah siapa yang offer the best price.

Kau dah dapat tender/contract spec? Kena dapatkan dahulu spec dan LOI tu from company yang bari contract/tender kat kau.

depends on the requirement and standards stated in the specs jer...

Documentation tu penting especially spec dan floor plan.

But kalau kau deal dgn expert,  dia boleh congak pon dah dapat bagi figure berapa kos kasar.

whoever supplier u approach and whatever type of fire fighting equipments (termasuk yg dlm vessel) they proposed...make sure it is "FM APPROVED"

Dah cukup banyak dahh tips nih.....

Terpulang cara kau nak buat job ni mcm mana. Nak ambil % aja atau nak buat sendiri pakai financial facility sendiri.

factory mutual, UL, MIL, etc... tengok laa kapal apa dan untuk saper..
tapi make sure kapal tu selamat....
