Inspektor Sheila Mengaku Tak Salah Ugut, Mengaibkan Kehormatan Lans Koperal Dan Dua Orang Awam

Pegawai polis yang tular dikenali sebagai 'Inspektor Sheila' mengaku tidak bersalah atas tiga pertuduhan mengugut dan mengaibkan kehormatan seorang anggota polis berpangkat lans koperal dan dua orang awam.
S Sheila Sharon, 35, yang didakwa di dua Mahkamah Majistret Selayang hari ini membuat pengakuan itu selepas ketiga-tiga pertuduhan itu dibacakan di hadapan Majistret Nur Hafizah Rajuni dan Chai Guan Hock.

Mengikut pertuduhan di depan Nur Hafizah, Sheila yang sudah digantung kerja didakwa menyebut berkenaan pangkat lans koperal dengan cara tidak wajar kepada Abdul Arif Farhan Abdul Razak dengan maksud untuk mengaibkan kehormatan penama itu di kedai makan di Jalan SG1/1, Taman Sri Gombak, Gombak, di sini, 1.25 petang, 15 Jun lalu.
Oleh itu, Sheila didakwa mengikut Seksyen 509 Kanun Keseksaan yang memperuntukkan hukuman penjara maksimum lima tahun atau denda atau kedua-duanya jika sabit kesalahan.
Sementara itu, bagi pertuduhan di hadapan Chai, Sheila didakwa atas dua lagi pertuduhan iaitu mengugut seorang wanita berusia 69 tahun dengan niat untuk mendatangkan kegentaran kepada mangsa dan menghina kesopanan seorang lelaki berusia 41 tahun dengan berkata: "You tengok badan you, gemuk, botak dan badak sumbu" di tempat dan hari yang sama pada jam 12 tengah hari.
Bagi kesalahan itu, dia didakwa mengikut Seksyen 509 Kanun Keseksaan dan Seksyen 506 kanun sama yang boleh dipenjara dua tahun dengan denda atau kedua-duanya.
Dalam prosiding hari ini, pendakwaan dikendalikan Timbalan Pendakwa Raya, Wan Nur Iman Wan Ahmad Afzal dan Anis Farhah Ahmad Hilmi manakala Sheila diwakili peguam M Manoharan.
Manoharan dalam rayuannya memohon supaya anak guamnya diberikan wang ikat jamin yang rendah atau dilepaskan dengan bon tanpa jaminan.
Manoharan berkata, anak guamnya yang mempunyai ijazah dalam bidang Bahasa dan Linguistik daripada Universiti Malaya, sudah berkhidmat dalam Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM) selama tujuh tahun.
Peguam itu berkata, bapa tertuduh juga sudah berkhidmat selama 39 tahun dalam pasukan keselamatan itu dengan pangkat terakhir sebagai Asisten Superintendan dan adik tertuduh juga berkhidmat dalam PDRM.
Mahkamah kemudian membenarkan tertuduh diikat jamin bagi kesemua pertuduhan sebanyak RM5,000 dengan seorang penjamin.
