Princess Athena of Denmark (Athena Marguerite Françoise Marie, born on January 24, 2012) celebrates her 8th birthday. The Princess is the youngest child and only daughter of Prince Joachim and Princess Marie of Denmark. On the occasion of the birthday, Danish Royal Court released new photos of the Princess. As patron of the DanChurchAid, Princess Marie of Denmark is making a working visit to Uganda's capital Kampala, Arua and Katakwi cities between the dates of February 26 and March 2, 2020.

On the second day of her visit, Princess Marie met with farmers and families who grow crops both for the local population, but also for Danish consumers.
Then, the Princess visited the refugee camp in Omugo and met with refugee families who have been involved in a project on sustainable climate solutions for refugees in the districts of Aura, Yumbe and Kampala.

On the 4th day of her visit to Uganda, Princess Marie met young climate activists in Kampala. In the evening, Princess Marie attended a reception hosted by Danish Ambassador to Uganda Nikolaj A. Hejberg Petersen.
