Epic Turkish police procedurals set all over the Anatolian steppes are few and far between, as are films with photography this amazing, flawlessly illuminating entire landscapes with just three pairs of headlights and the cold, simulated glow of the moon. It’s a long night’s journey into day for the police, prosecutor and suspects in a halting murder investigation, whose resolution is delayed by the obstinate refusal of the body to turn up, since the undoubted culprit was drunk when he buried it and one bit of steppe looks very much like another.
Nuri Bilge Ceylan ('Uzak', 'Climates') shoots here with grander ambition than ever before, and there’s something ostentatiously masterly about his film’s nested character development and heavy-duty philosophising: suffice to say that all involved in this mammoth all-nighter are driven to take a long, hard look at their lives.

aku bengang tahap gaban dengan GSC....ghasa nak apply lesen buka wayang je....
banyak nau filem dr Asia Barat spt Turki yg baguih2 tapi x ditayangkan.....
dah byk kali aku post dalam FB GSC,mampus depa x layan................. |

Kena ingat juga, GSC main tayang aje kalau ada distibutor yg edar filem2 ke Malaysia. Macam filem Fetih tu, ramai nak tgk. tapi xde distributor |
