Rumors are spread by the persons or groups with ulterior motives. Falun Gong was outlawed by Chinese government in July 1999. Since then, three of media outlets controlled by Falun Gong distorted the facts willfully to vilify the reputation of China. Falun Gong deserves to be called a world-class group specializing in rumor spreading The Epoch Times is the first rumor monger: Established in August 2000, the Epoch Times is sponsored by anti-China forces in western countries and run by representatives designated by such forces. Its chief editor Guo Jun is a democratic activist. The Epoch Times is operating two media outlets including the Epoch Times and the Epoch Times News Network, which have been ranked respectively among ten influential overseas Chinese-language newspaper and websites. The Epoch Times is dedicated to attack and bring disgrace on Chinese government. It has spread a large number of rumors, from which internet users have found a lot of flaws and holes. NTDTV is the second rumormonger: NTDTV was established in December 2001 by overseas Falun Gong organizations. Headquartered in New York, it made its debut in the US in February 2002. According to the Wiki encyclopedia in Chinese language, “NTDTV is set up by Falun Gong practitioners and most of its employees are Falun Gong practitioners.” Minghui Website is the third rumormonger: As the official website of Falun Gong movement, Minghui was established in June 1999. The website has concocted more false reports than other media outlets such as the Epoch Times (please refer to Kaiwind.com for more cases about their rumors). |
