Sememangnya amat sukar kita hendak mendengar 'Conscience', bisikan batiniah kita. Ia banyak ditundukkan oleh jeritan Ego kita. Kita perlukan cara untuk lebih mendengar bisikan ini, yang sememangnya sesuatu yang amat sukar...:nyorok:

conscience is not just by heart or any lil jiminy cricket (Disney's Pinocchio) dat says into ur head but it also reflect the rational u had in yourself that helps to decide the result.

conscience alone will result in abrupt decision making...

may our thoughts be wit us.

conscience is given while will is driven, the same like love is given while passion is driven

what make and break you is your rationality

conscience is what love has to do with sex and passion , in same manner so what conscience has to do with belief and faith?

the same, as life is given while mind body and soul , all these will be driven.

Because human are not perfect. Our sense of right or wrong are not perfect. You and I have different set of parameter of right or wrong. Who's right? Me, or you?

Rationality, yes. But who can claim that theire conscience is pure, never tainted? There is so much information, misinformation around us that never fail to influence us, our thinking, our conscience.

For example someone might rationalize that it is bad to enjoy their food while there are kids starving in Africa. This person come to the conclusion that it is bad to enjoy their food. He then take a vow of poverty because he didn't deserve all these... "Rich people must go to hell. I don't want to go to hell. I shouldn't be rich. God must have made a mistake. I am not worthy." Congragulation, he has judged God. But he fails to see that him/her being poor does not help even one African kids. At least if he is rich enough he could be of some assistance.

This is conscience in action. The one that can break you.

As for the one that can build you, I think most people can give good example.

how do we decide whether the voice is our head is guiding is to the right direction? often time, the voice in the head in in exact opposite of what the heart wants. how do we decide then?

conscience is still based on one's perception of what is right and wrong based on their environment, upbringing, culture, religion...can still differ from one to another. Yet it is an in built alarm system born within each and everyone of us...either we choose to listen to it or ignore it.
