Like shark fin.. because the fin belogn to shark and hard to catch and people increase the price therfore it is luxury exotic food |

and what is so wrong with making up luxuries?
We do not necessarily "need" them to go on with our lives,
but their presence definitely make us feel better ..
may not be something grand or excessively expensive but
it is something that makes us feel better about ourselves ..
and pray tell me, is there anything wrong with that?  |

uhmm....but i do not "need" to eat shark fin in order to live?
but still i eat them anyway ...if I have extra money?
coz it tasted good, and good food definitely makes my belly happy?  |

My little luxury is like a passing dream. When I was young my grandpa gave me an old cheap and cheerful watch. A mechanical winding watch which I treasured it. I put under my pillow at night just to listen to the tick, tick,tick .......ad infinitum. |

to me delicious is dependent on perception of every individual...
often people let go their own perception jsut to follow trend created by professional people on food ...
TASTE for orang putih is bitter
for chinese maybe sweet and sour
for malays must be pedas or hot (tongue like chilies)
for indian must be hot ( in tekak like spices)
these are the condition to which one dish is 'delicious' according to its corresponding CULTURE
i got an indian friend , kawin perempuan mat salleh but eventually divorced sebab dia tak tahan takdak CURRY in their daily eating routine, dia balik dan carik bini oang india jugak..baru Happy Deepavali |

this is still a luxury to me ...
coz i dont really need it,
i'm just simply giving in to my "cravings" ..
and anything which is near to "desirable" is definitely a luxury?
you dont need it, you "want" it - or at least, you'd be happier if you have it ... |

Decision is purely private and personal I guess, but sometimes when left to the uninitiated....semuanya necessary. You take it away ............dia tak matipun!

is it neccessary to be an item? My lil luxury would be drinking an ice-blended frapuccino (because I live outside KL) while readng my favourite book. It磗 so hard to get a time on my own and read. My other luxury is to get a time off for us 3 as family without feeling guilty towards IL. |

since luxury is an extra, not a commodity i'd say my collection of old HPs, cameras, MP3 players....hihihi

well... whenever i'm able to spend the whole morning in bed watching tv's and fall asleep in between
coz.... i always have to work day and night, weekdays or weekends... |
