Saya nak tanya pendapat sesiapa yg pernah tinggal diantara Abu Dhabi or Doha.
Antara kedua negara ni yg mana lebih liberal dan senang untuk mulakan kehidupan baru interm of cost of living, facilities and etc.

Apasal tanya?. I Do not know about Doha, but I've been in Dubai and Abu Dhabi for more than 4 yrs. Definitely Abu Dhabi is better than Dubai. Abu Dhabi is a well planned city, tak mcm Dubai, berserabut. Cost of living kat Abu Dhabi memang tinggi especially accomodation. 2 Bedroom apartment can cost you about RM8 - RM9k per month, depend on location. |

I pun ada baca dalam internet accomadation di Abu Dhabi slightly more expensive than Dubai cuma lately ni susah sangat foreigner nak dapat cari rumah sebab Demand lebih tinggi than supply.( Dd Vs SS ).
Mcm mana kalau location close to Airport? Masih mahal ke? |

Sarah,
I tinggal kat Doha since september last year. IMHO Doha ni takda la best mana pun. They are not open as Abu Dhabi from whay I heard. though they are on their way to be more cool..you get what I mean? Some of my friends cakap, Abu Dhabi is much retter in lots of way. Kat sini cost of living agak mahal, rental are expensive, car not too bad though and minyak memanglah rah. Half tank of petrol (for normal car) could cost you only RM8. Foods (normal restaurants/fast foods) macam kat Malaysia jugak. One thing kat sini yang bagus everything is halal, for non muslim kalau nak beli arak kena ada special permit. So boleh pejam mata makan kat mana pun.
Local people don't really like asians (indons, philipines, indians, nepalese etc), that's happened to me. They treat us just like we are the labours too because for them, asians are the the third world country and so they should be treated like one too. But of courselah not all are like that, tapi so far boleh dikira dengan sebelah tangan aje. Youngster mengalahkan mat rempit dengan kereta diorang and kalau dia langgar kereta you, it will still be your fault.
Talk about facilities pulak, you could only have your phone line & internet fix once you are granted dengan permit/visa, lesen memandu Malaysia tak laku so kena ambik balik, takda alamat rumah - kalau nak terima surat kena sewa PO Box kat pos ofis cost you about 300Riyal, tak sure untuk berapa lama. Shopping wise okaylah, about the same price kat malaysia. Private hospital banyak, and so far we have found one that are really good and worth the money.
So far ni je yang I ingat..nanti kalau ada lagi, I akan tambah |

Dear Calimero,
Thank you for advise and message above.
I pun ada dengar life di Abu Dhabi much better even compare with Dubai because quality of life.
Ada one of my friend from Malaysia dapat offer kerja di Qatar Airways but after one year balik malaysia sebab his wife tak tahan life disana.
Dia kata even they paid him with very handsome price tapi no point tengok muka wife masam and tension everyday duduk kat rumah.Wife dia sebelum ni carreer woman and resigned follow husband dia ke Doha. |

One of my officemates pun baru saja balik from Doha.Sebelum ni dia kerja sama compony dengan I than after that dapat offer from Qatar Airways also dengan gaji 3kali ganda dari tempat lama tu tapi tak sampai setahun dia balik and join compony lama sebab sebab wife dia tak tahan dengan life di Doha dan campur tangan in-law terpaksa la dia pulang ke Malaysia balik.
Tapi accoding to him besides gaji dia memang enjoy diDoha.Dia kata life disana best.
Abu Dhabi pula kawan I cakap more relax compare with Dubai tapi sekarang ni Abu Dhabi pun dah tengah rancak membangun. |

One thing I respect fasal arabian people diaorang memang jaga kepentingan orang2 dia dulu sebelum orang2 luar ataupun foreigneir.
Mcm kawan I yg berkerja di Emirates, dia kata even kita kerja kuat mcm mana pun tak akan kita dpt sampai tahap management level because management level kuota only for local people but only for certain2 case only foreigners boleh pegang jawatan tinggi disana.
Even sometime local people tak tahu buat kerja pun every year mesti ada promotion.
This scenario berbeza diMalaysia. |

Betul tu LV, kat sini, most of the highest position, dipegang oleh local. Some of them memang tak kerja pun sebab tetiap bulan duit masuk as a sponsors untuk foreigners yang bukak business kat sini. |

My Husband baru balik from Abu Dhabi semalam.
Dia kata Abu Dhabi more clean and relax kalau nak compare with Dubai. He said can consider kalau dapat good offer kat sana.
Kalau makan kat luar agak mahal nak compare di Malaysia.Dia makan nasi bryani with ice tea already cost him 27.00 Dirham.
Tapi kalau nak shopping grocery mcm kat carrefour tu price slightly sama mcm di Malaysia.
Kesimpulannyer he prefer Abu Dhabi punya life style compare di Dubai. |

Sarah, 39 C tu very mild kiranya untuk summer tau. According orang yang dah lama kat sini peak summer almost touch 50C tau. Memang sekarang pun aircond dah start pasang. Kalau malam tu still terasa bahangnya cuma tak seteruk macam day time..nantilah lagi dua tiga minggu ni I akan report kat you macam mana bahangnya.
Scenery ada tapi tak banyak. I letak kat my blog (on my siggy kat bawah tu), kalau rajin pergilah ke sana I letak under Album Photo. |
