Puding Beras

Ada tak sesapa yg ada resepi untuk puding beras nih?
kat topik 'aneka puding' tuh sampai 103 pages... penat den nak selak satu2... tapi kalau ada yg leh confirmkan pernah ada resepi nih kat situ.. akan ku usahakan jugaklaa menyelak... hehehe

dulu masa skolah suka masak puding beras nih sbb simple n sedap.. tapi dah tak ingat resepinya... yg saya ingat part kena rendam beras tuh sampai kaler dia ala2 lutsinar... then campor ngan susu pekat... ker krimer manis.. simple je.. tapi tak ingat the exact resepinya plus tak sure ada bahan tambahan lain ke tak..

pernah try resepi indian nyer version rice pudding.. dia ada taruk buah pelaga ke apa ntah... tapi tataulaa samada silap resepi or silap tukang masak... tak sedap laa plak pudingnya.. huhuhu... tapi masa makan kat indian restaurant.. sedap kemain.. huhuhu

kalau ada sesapa yg ada resepi simple2 puding beras nih sudi2 kan laa kongsi kat sini yer... tringin sungguh2 nih....

opss..br teringat..pernah tgk dokumentari kat astro..tapi yg masak tu org mexico..resepi dia pun simple aje..beras+susu pekat manis+vanila..beras tu masak dgn air sampai kembang pastu campur dgn 1 tin susu pekat manis dan vanila essen..dlm siaran tu dia guna vanila yg fresh  nnt sy try cari dlm majalah2 yg melambak kat umah ni.

Old-Fashioned Rice Pudding I

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup uncooked white rice
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup raisins (optional)
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
DIRECTIONS
  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Grease a 2 quart baking dish.
  • Beat together the eggs and milk. Stir in white sugar, uncooked rice, butter, vanilla extract, raisins, and nutmeg. Pour into prepared pan.
  • Bake for 2 to 2 1/2 hours in the preheated oven. Stir frequently during the first hour.

hehehe... tataulaa nak kata... sbb actuallynya rasa nya very the simple.... rasa sweet2 pastuh biji2 sbb beras tuh kan.... takper.. nnt saya try buat and try tempek gambor... kalau menjadik laa...

haa... rasanya yg itu laa tuh.. sbb resepi dia mmg sgt simple... and yg kawan ajar masa skolah dulu2 pon simple sgt... main masak atas dapur jer... pastuh masok dlm fridge.... pastuh siaappppp

mungkin kot... tapi dia buat pakai oven.. payohlaa sket... kat rumah takdak oven maa.. hehehehe... takper.. masih lagik menelek2 mencarik... ada jumpa kat mesra.net... tapi derang pakai susu segar... tataulaa rasanya camna... nnt saya try kalau menjadik... i'll paste and share2 kat sinih

belah2 asia ni yg selalu makan rice pudding nih mcm India, Bangladesh kita kat sini mmg jarang la jumpa, dulu saya pernah naik airline Bangladesh tu (ala2 bajet nak balik mesia dr UK ), dia punya desert masa makan tu mesti dia bagi benda ni, rasa dia sedap la jugak ada manis2, berempah tu sikit je la & lemak susu. Kat UK pun org biasa makan gak sedap tu kalau agak2 nak tukar selera, yang famous kat sana brand Ambrosia

Rice Pudding (modified by Hiro)...I suka modified recipe. Yang nih tak yah bake, masak atas dapur...Rasanya lebih sesuai panggil Puding Nasi...sebab kalau panggil beras, macam puding mentah lah

INGREDIENTS
3/4 cup uncooked white rice
2 cups milk , divided (boleh jugak guna evaporated milk, richer taste)
1/2 cup white sugar  (kalau nak kurang manis, kurangkan gula)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 egg, beaten
2/3 cup golden raisins
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tspn ground cinnamon (tak dak pun tak pe)

DIRECTIONS

Cook rice as you usually do.

In another saucepan, combine 1 1/2 cups cooked rice, 1 1/2 cups milk, sugar and salt. Cook over medium heat until thick and creamy, 15 to 20 minutes. Stir in remaining 1/2 cup milk, beaten egg, cinnamon and raisins. Cook 2 minutes more, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, and stir in butter and vanilla. Serve warm.

Rice pudding ni kalau buat ngan beras pulut pun sedap. I selalu buat ngan beras pulut. Kalau tabur ngan nutmeg kat atas, bila bake dia satu rumah smell so delish....



Ingredients:
4 oz (110 g) pudding rice, or arborio rice or beras pulut

semalam dok belek majalah lama2..saja selak-selak so terjumpa satu resepi puding beras nie..mmg tak pernah cuba lah..tapi kalau korang nk cuba..sila lah..

Puding Beras Dengan Mangga
sumber : Jelita [Resepi Warisan Ibu Pilihan Bernas]


Bahan-bahan :-
250 gm beras
2 liter susu segar
250 gm gula pasir
3 helai daun pandan, disimpul
100 gm mentega
150 gm kismis
150 gm mangga, didadukan
6 biji telur
sedikit garam

Bahan Karamel :-
200 gm gula pasir
100 ml air

Cara-cara :-
1. Basuh beras kemudian sejat.
2. Jerang beras bersama susu segar, gula, daun pandan dan mentega di atas api perlahan.
3. Masak dan kacau selalu sehingga beras menjadi bubur. Angkat daripada api.
4. Keluarkan daun pandan. Bubuh kismis, mangga dan telur di dalam adunan. Kacau sebati.
5. Masukkan adunan ke dalam acuan yang telah dituang karamel.
6. Sejukkan dan keluarkan puding.Hias mengikut citarasa.

Untuk membuat karamel :-
1. Jerang gula dan air dalam periuk tidak melekat. Kacau hingga menjadi keemasan. Tuang karamel ke dalam bekas tahan panas atau tuang terus ke dalam acuan.

I kalau buat makan gitu je. Diaorg kata sedap gak mkn ngan ice cream. Tapi takutlah, nanti gemok lagi. . Kkdg nak bagi lebih lemak, I campurkan sikit fresh cream dlm susu tu bila I masak. Boleh gak letak kismis. Tapi my husband tak suka kismis. Recipe kat atas tu mmg original basic English punya resipi. So spt biasa, kita boleh tambah ramuan. I ingat kalau letak durian pun sedap. Jadi mcm pulut lemak durian.....

My mum makes the best rice pudding in the world!

Kheer - rice pudding
1/2 cup rice rice (basmati the best)
8 cups milk
4 cardamon pods
1 and 1/4 cup sugar
2 tbps slivered blanched almonds
1/4 tsp ground cardamon
1/4 tsp freshly grated nutmeg
1 tsp rose water or few drops rose essence

Basuh beras & boil in water for 5 mins. Drain well
Didihkan susu with cardamons.  Add rice and simmer.
Kacau selalu for 1 hour until nasi lembut and susu jadi pekat.
Add sugar and almonds and continue cooking until the consistency is like that of porridge.
Remove from heat, pick out the cardamon pods.

If you think the flavor needs intensifying, add ground cardamon.

When half cool stir in the rose water. Serve warm or chilled, in a large bowl or individual sweet dishes, the top sprinkled with a little grated nutmeg.

Yummy!  My favourite comfort food.
