the most anticipated chinese film of the year and by far the most expensive to date.

part of a duology . the film is based on the historical text; Records of the Three Kingdom, that was written in the 3rd century.

red cliff will open before the beijing olympics. the chinese government wanted the film as a showcase of chinese history and thus the release date.

the second part of the duology will be released by the end of the year.

wajib tengok cerita ni  sebab saya memang minat epic china -
cerita2 adventure / action ni  mesti best --
apa lagi ada tony leung yang hensem tu dan takeshi kaneshiro -
dia punya fight mesti best nanti nih... pedang panjang2 semua --

apa2 pun.. cerita ni memang best punya...

bila tengok cerita2 epic china - macam hero,
ouaic  etc... suka jalan cerita depa dan ambience
yang depa buat -

ni first time john woo buat in chinese -
dia ni banyak gak film2 dia yang okay --

oh, baru aku tau rerupenye utk Asia je dorg release dua filem (means 2 part dan 2 jam per movie).. utk luar Asia dorg release satu movie je 2 jam setengah.. alasannye sbb takut org confuse dgn nama watak dalam cite ni nnt sbb luar Asia jarang tgk cite epik cina kut..

baru balik dari tengok RED CLIFF

omg omg.......what a FANTASTIC MOVIE

and i mean it is FANTASTIC......
setanding dengan batman yang saya tengok kelmarin or
even better in its own way -

and i just soooooo disappointed bila last tu - to be continued -
untuk tunggu battle dengan cao cao kat laut tu.....

and this time i am gonna really recommend whoever loves epic movie
this is a movie you DO NOT WANNA MISS...

tony leung fantastic - macam strange nak computekan
dia dalam internal affairs - dengan epic macam ni -
but what a great actor -
takeshi kaneshiro just awesome...
and so handsome  -
and good expression -
i really love the way he smiles...
remind me of someone -

and the battle and the fight...
just... - well some of them memang la ganas etc...
kalau guna lembing dan pedang semua - what can we expect
but bloody places all ova -

tapi - jalan cerita yang interesting
some fun lines... and good humor
especially masa princess of wu bisikkan kat kuda tu....
and the horse fell down threw the guy off -
that was funny scene - especially bila zhuge (kaneshiro) and
zhou yu (tony leung) terus cabut...  takut kuda depa lak kena -

and as well during zhuge visited zhou yu
untuk persuade to unite in order to defeat the prime minister cao cao
yang jahat macam kambing tu -  bila dia kata what an old formation
(cara lama - ) that was a good scene actually -

a great strategy - best masa cara depa lawan -
and made a maze -
memang fantastic -

music pun best - script pun bagus -
lakonan tak usah cakaplah - semuanya best -


i watched most of the chinese epic and this one is top 3 no doubt -
can't wait january next year for part 2 -

i dun watch hellboy so i can't vote that movie
