Super GT Series 2008 - Malaysia (Round 4)

Went to SIC with Alongarts & Tehtarik... shooting the Super GT... Friday is the first day of the event which mostly involved practice session and qualifying round for some support race... we arrived in the afternoon... after collecting the media pass at the Media Welcome Centre (and pay RM100 each for vest deposit), we went to have some lunch (quite late actually at around 3.30pm) since the practice session for the Super GT will start at 4.00pm... We arrived at the 'Turn 1' (or is it 'Turn 2'?) inside area shortly after the practice session start...



Unfortunately, we have to rush back to KL coz Alongarts have another event to attend in the evening...



Petronas sponsored car... ahem ahem...



Actually I'm quite 'blur' after not shooting any motorsports event for quite sometime... Anyway, that's about it for the first day session... Well, after testing some setting I think I have the idea on how to shoot on the next day... I think la...

tapi aku rasa kat sana tu mmg lagi ramai org yg datang sebab kan gt queens je... lagi ramai photog masa Pit Walkabout dari pada photog kat track menembak aksi2 race...

sorry le anakini ye... we all pi sana bukan na shoot aksi2 photog... so mmg takde pun... kecuali ada sorang ni mmg dia suruh shoot gambar dia tgh mengangkut kamera... angkut je la... tapi takde la aksi mana pun... mcm mamat atas tu... heh heh...

caranthir... sorry beb... melopeh nak makan nasik minyak ko kawen... tu pasal dulu pun we all terpaksa menolak pelawaan ko utk jadi OP ko punya wedding... bukan tak sudi ke apa... tapi takpe... next time ko punya wedding we all try attend ye...

2nd day... bila sampai tu try sekali lagi kat Turn 1... bosan... dah pulas habis lens pun kereta still nampak ciput... so gerak ke jalan straight sebelum Turn 1 tu... tu yg dapat gambar mcm mlm kat atas tadi... sebenarnya metering camera dah kena trick dgn headlight kereta yg terang benderang tu...

nah amik ko... sekali kat tempat tu dekat gila sebab betul2 tepi jalan and kereta pun tgh memecut... ada la dpt sikit2 muncung la... bontot la... ekzos la...

dah berpinau mata kat situ akhirnya pi hujung sket betul2 sebelum masuk Turn 1... disebabkan masih rapat dgn kereta, maka cubaan menembak dgn lens kontot pulak...

well... that's the end of the morning qualifying session... lepas tu ada Pit Walkabout plak... ahem ahem...

sebelah petang... mula2 nak pi Turn 7... belah luar berdepan Petronas Tower... tapi reflection terlalu kuat pada kereta sebab matahari terik time tu... angle tak sesuai...  so kita pun pi ke Turn 14...
